Dear Trick or Treat 2020 Writer,

Thank you so much for writing for me! I'll try to keep this letter at a manageable length but I usually tend to ramble a lot. I love Halloween, both dark and twisted stuff and sweet seasonal treats. There's a lot of things I like and only a few dealbreakers, so if none of my prompts spark your interest, feel free to go with another idea or something else, as long as my DNWs aren't hit.

I've requested some of these prompts before in other exchanges, and I've reused large chunks of old letters, but I'm as excited for any one of these requests.

30 Days of Night (2007)
Requested Characters: Eben Oleson, Stella Oleson

+ The AU I always wanted is Eben surviving the ending but staying a vampire. Maybe Stella refuses to let him die, or maybe his vampire instincts take over at the end and he ends up hiding from the sun. I’m most interested in Eben struggling against his hunger and new inhumanity and how much of his own self he manages to retain; Eben torn between his human morals and his newfound instincts.

+ I’d really especially love to see Eben run away from Stella and her track him down, or Eben and Stella trying to make a relationship work...whether Eben pretends or thinks he can be a friendly neighborhood vampire, or she keeps Eben locked up and brings him animals (or people) to feed on.

+ Eben turning Stella into a vampire. They go on the run together.

+ Bad end AU where the vampires survive and turn Eben & Stella and subsume the two in their little vampire pack. I also have always been interested in the thought of Eben leading them after he kills their leader; I love that they all scatter at the end after the fight, and if Eben survives, I’d love to see them look to him for leadership now that he’s proven himself in their eyes.

+ I’d also love to read a take on them more in line with the comics plot of Eben still dying but Stella going on a journey to bring him back; I’d love something happy where he comes back from the dead alive and human, a genuine journey into the underworld with trials to retrieve his soul, or she brings Eben back but as a monster (Note: I haven’t actually read the comics, so I am not asking for a redo of what the comics did but rather to take inspiration from that plotline).

+ Pre-canon, anything exploring their relationship. As het married couples go, I really did love them and I’d love to see their love story before it all falls apart.

+ Stella taking in Eben's little brother after the movie, and trying to move on and recover together.

+ Or throw in Jake in the vampire shenanigans and turn him too, especially if Eben lives or comes back.

Event Horizon
Requested Characters: Cooper (Event Horizon), Justin (Event Horizon), Lt. Starck (Event Horizon)

I ship: Cooper/Lt. Starck.

Hi, I’ve been obsessed with this movie since the first time I saw it but this is the first time I've requested it.

+ Recovery fic; I always try to read the ending of the movie in the most optimistic light—-that they did escape the Event Horizon, and the door only closes by itself because it’s automatic. However, Starck is so clearly traumatized and I’d love read fic about any of them, or all them, struggling with the leftover trauma of the Event Horizon. How do they cope knowing hell is real? How do they go back to the real world? How does Justin recover from his massive injuries? I love to see the three of them end up very codependent together.

+ I also love how Cooper is holding and soothing Starck in the end; they seemed to have some mildly flirtatious banter prior to the events of the film and I’d love some hurt/comfort with them, whether they get together or not. It doesn’t have to be Cooper comforting Starck either (though I would love more of that), Starck providing the comfort would also be lovely.

+ We see how the Event Horizon fucks with main characters like Weir and Miller, but what about Starck? What’s her worst fear or worst memory that hell would use to fuck with her? Cooper seemed to avoid most of the brunt of the trauma because he was stuck outside the ship but did he ever catch glimpses of his own trauma coming back to haunt him?

+ Anything exploring Justin’s POV. What Justin saw when he looked in the core; what darkness Justin has inside him that was so overbearing he needed to kill himself. Or coming back to earth but coming back distinctly wrong...maybe he keeps slipping into creepy fugue states.

+ Cooper and the rest escape the Event Horizon and go back home...but hell comes back with them.

+ The survivors keep having nightmares about them in the hell dimension, like what Weir showed Miller...but what if it’s not a nightmare?

Fright Night 1985
Requested Characters: Evil Ed Thompson, Billy Cole, Amy Peterson

I ship: Billy/Jerry, Ed/Jerry, Ed/Charley, and I like the Ed&Amy dynamic a lot.

+ What is Billy? Where did he come from? How long has he been with Jerry? What is their relationship? I'd love any kind of backstory you could give him. I'd especially love it if Billy were a willing servant in some way, rather than some mind controlled slave.

+ I'd love to see what happens to Ed after the movie. Does he ever try to reintegrate himself into Charley and Amy's lives? Or does he move on and go find other vampires, or stick to being on his own? Give Evil Ed a happy if murderous unlife.

+ I liked what little we saw of the relationship between Ed and Amy, especially when they banded together to help Charley. I would love to see more of that, them working together, reluctantly or otherwise.

+ I would love some Billy/Jerry. Domestic stuff with their lives as they constantly move around, Billy looking after Jerry, cleaning up after him, getting rid of bodies together, taking care of him, maybe even some hurt/comfort--I loved the scene where Billy is on his knees, helping take out the pencil Charley stabbed Jerry with. I would love some kind of service kink or hurt/comfort blowjobs. I would love it if Billy offered his blood when Jerry is injured.

+ Jerry taking Ed under his wing. I love evil vampire mentor and baby vampire shenanigans. I would love going in a shippy direction as well; the scene where he offers Ed his hand is so oddly tender and I’m just interested in more of that dynamic.

+ Ed returns to haunt Charley again. Either out of some kind of revenge, or missing his friend and being lonely. Or both!

+ I've always been fascinated and intrigued by Amy having gone almost full vampire in one night then snapped right back to being human. I'd love it if she weren't quite right afterwards, whether due to PTSD from her harrowing night, or if she has some leftover vampire traits, maybe being haunted by Jerry, maybe just kind of still feeling like shes a vampire on some level.

+ Bad end AU where Jerry wins and gets to go off with his new baby vampires Amy and Ed and maybe even gets to keep Billy too. Maybe he even turns Charley. Bad end for everyone but him, really.

+ Or maybe Amy straight up misses being a vampire and she goes to seek out Ed to see if he can turn her, or find some other vampires out there. I don't care for Fright Night 2 very much but if you wanna work in Jerry's sister and add some twisted femslash, I'd be all over for it.

I enjoy pretty much every character in this canon and I would be happy with fic about anyone of my requested characters, though for this exchange this year, I am focusing on smaller, more minor characters, for the most part. I may not prompt the same amount of prompts for everyone but I love them all. I always try to request this fandom in every exchange because I never ever get tired of fic for this fandom.

General Prompts:

+ Halloween at Jackknives! I'd love something set when Seth and Richie are running the place. Decorations, silly menu items, Richie arguing with customers over their taste in movies, older more ancient vampires having fun with the holiday.

+ In general, I am sad we got to spend so little time at the vampire truck stop; the sort of absurd pulpy aspects of it is part of the reason why I love this show, so I would love anything that incorporates running Jackknives in any form. Maybe Kisa stopping by every now and then, or Venganza looking in to see what they've done with the place, or Seth and Richie adjusting to owning the place, Scott hanging out there after Kate’s death because he has nothing else going for him.

+ Hands down one of my fave tropes is that the vampire character is wounded/injured/sick and needs to feed off human character to stay alive! I would love this with Seth being the human, and the vampire being Richie, Kisa or Scott, though I'm also interested in a Scott & Kate (or Scott/Kate) take on this trope, or anything with Paloma.

+ I love this show’s mythology and I would dig anything exploring that; Xibalba, the 9 Lords, El Rey, the Hero Twins.

Dakota McGraw-Block

+ Dakota Block is such a great legacy character and the show didn’t do nearly enough with her. So just give me more Dakota. Her POV post canon, after Amaru nearly ended the world, would be great. Dakota moving forward with her knowledge that supernatural monsters are real, and that the guy who murdered her dad helped stop the end of the world.

+ I genuinely loved the Richie/Dakota interactions between she tried to kill him (which. valid), I’d love to see them interact once more after finding out he’s a vampire. I ship them, if you want to go there, but I’m mainly intrigued by his attraction to her and the fact that he offered to help her avenge her father’s death before he realized he was the one who killed him, and the fact that she flirted so well with the guy she knew murdered her dad. Is it even possible to reconcile that going forward? Does Richie try to blame Earl McGraw’s death on his Santanico visions, or does he take full responsibility?

+ Dakota’s vengeance quest. How long did it take her to find Richie Gecko, who is supposed to be legally dead?

+ Dakota and Freddie growing up together! Especially if her father pays more attention to Freddie than her. I would love the messiness and tension between pseudo adopted son and biological daughter. I am down for messy teenage Dakota/Freddie too.

+ Since Dakota is a character that appears mainly in Planet Terror, I’d love to see her run into FDTD’s version of Cherry Darling here.

+ Dakota and Kisa interactions, I need them.

Eddie "Uncle Eddie" Cruickshank

+ Eddie POV on raising the Geckos! Did he get them after the fire killed Ray? I’d love to see him struggling to raise these traumatized kids and trying to instill them with the code to hopefully regulate their behavior.

+ Eddie teaching them how to pull off heists; being a better, kinder more gentle teacher (if firm) than Ray Gecko ever could be.

+ Eddie POV on Seth/Richie incest. When and how does he find out? Is he horrified? Does he try to stop it? Or is he resigned to it? I find the thought of Eddie knowing interesting given how he tried to warn Sonja away from Seth, and how much he thought Seth/Vanessa was a bad idea.

+ I would like to know all about Eddie and how he got along with his abusive brother. Was Ray always awful or did he get that way with age? Did Ray use to terrorize Eddie as a kid and Eddie avoided him to avoid further abuse, only to realize he was doing the same to his sons? Did they ever work together and how well did they manage to pull those off?

+ The showrunner said that Eddie makes his bad like a good prisoner, so tell me about Eddie going to prison and what brought him there, and how he got out.

+ I spent most of season two hoping Sonja would dump Seth for the superior Gecko, Eddie. So give me that. Sonja and Eddie flirting and having a fling. Either cheating on Seth or dumping him only to hook up with Eddie later down the line. Pretend Sonja never betrays Seth in this instance.

+ Eddie survives because SOMEONE turns him into a vampire. Richie? Kisa? If Kisa turns him into a vampire, I’d love to see him ‘play dead’ to teach the Geckos a lesson. I love the thought of Kisa riding off on a motorcycle and picking up Eddie somewhere. Maybe the two go off together on adventures (yes I am open to Kisa/Eddie).

Monica Garza

+ AU where instead of kidnapping Kate and the Fullers, the Geckos kidnap Monica and use her to get across the border. How do the events of season one occur with Monica there?

+ AU where Monica survives and Richie doesn’t kill her. I’d love for her to go back to her family, and maybe occasionally get mysterious amounts of money (sent by Richie, as an apology for his behavior; I love the thought of Richie regretting how he acted once he gets back in his right mind).

+ I love the thought of Monica forced to go with Geckos into the twister, and this somehow leading to a life of crime with the Geckos for survival reasons. Maybe she ends up Bonnie & Clyding it up with Seth as she tries to get back home and get away from him in equal measure.

+ Vampire Monica! Kisa turns her into a vampire as a reward. Or Richie ends up turning her. I would just love to see it.

+ OR AU where Monica is the one receiving scary visions from Santanico asking her to set her free...all she has to do is travel to Mexico. Feel free to include the Geckos in this, or make this a solo journey for Monica, or add in another character from the canon.

Paloma Gutierrez

+ AU where Paloma does NOT die. Any way you wanna do it. Maybe that was only a hallucination of Paloma that Kisa saw, maybe she never got captured by Malvado or went looking for him, maybe Kisa wanders into a truckstop or diner and finds Paloma alive and well.

I love the thought of vampire Paloma, especially with reluctant mentor Kisa and Paloma angry at her but wanting to be like her as well. Give me all the fucked up shenanigans.

+ Paloma backstory and growing up worshipping Santanico Pandemonium instead of a traditional god. Paloma backstory re: whatever drove her to cross the border and leave her country. Paloma and her family and what she left behind.

+ Paloma survives, becomes a vampire, and runs off to do her own thing. Or Carlos ends up turning Paloma into a vampire.

Rafa Infante

+ Rafa meeting Kisa. I would die. Rafa meeting his lord and savoir Kisa.

+ More of Rafa’s life in Mexico, eating people who cross his path, and working at the little shrine for Kisa, selling idols with her image on them. I am fascinated by him and how he ended up there. Further backstory like how he became a vampire and what was he like as a human would be great.

+ Rafa’s family has been worshipping Kisa for generations.

+ Rafa meets Carlos. Maybe Carlos even sets up the shrine that Rafa visits.

+ Kate/Rafa! Especially Kate luring bad men for Rafa to eat and the two of them working together. I’d love to see Kate ditch Seth for Rafa; maybe he lives and he goes with her to the United States and helps her cross the border. Then he just keeps following her.

+ Rafa eating Kate out. That’s it, that’s the prompt. Maybe there is car sex.

+ Kate brings Rafa to Scott to help him be a friendly neighborhood vampire. I’d love to see Rafa try to take Scott under his wing and Scott being very resistant at first, but eventually getting along.

Santanico Pandemonium | Kisa

+ Post canon. Rebuilding the culebra world, with Kisa as their leader. Adjusting to being seen as a queen and declaring herself the queen of culebras. Struggling with that responsibility.

+ Kisa and Carlos post canon, finding their way back to each other, perhaps tentatively reconciling, or perhaps Kisa holding him at arm’s length.

+ Post S2 things. Kisa on her journey throughout the country on her motorcycle. Kisa trying to find herself. Kisa having her own little roadtrip and seeing all the tourist traps the US has to offer. Kisa encounters other types of monsters, myths and legends. Kisa reconciles with the current country borders that didn’t exist when she got locked up in the temple.

+ For Geckos and Seth/Richie/Kisa, I'd love any kind of tropey scenario—-sharing one bed together, crossdressing for a job, stuck in an elevator together, fake married (either one of them to Kisa, or Geckos to each other), fake dating, body switching (though I prefer that between Geckos mainly). I really love snowed in trope for the three of them, or trapped in some location together.

+ I loved the whole time period where Richie and Kisa were dating, how kind of sweet they were but also dark and macabre. I'd love to see anything from those three months they were together, whether working on revenge, practicing and planning heists, Richie showing her modern stuff and taking her to diners and convenience stores, them eating people together, Kisa teaching Richie how to be a vampire, him forcing his movies on her, long stake outs, awkward dates, etc.

+ Strange Things Afoot at the Circle K—-or, Richie takes Kisa to her first convenience store.

+ Kisa/Manola backstory! Tell me more about Manola. Tell me more about how she gave herself to Kisa! Tell me more about their relationship and how it grew and how she got Kisa to open up to her.

+ Seth/Kisa working together, growing closure, fake dating undercover stuff for a job. I love the scene where he offered her his blood? I want to see more of that. Maybe they have a strangely intimate connection from there on out.

Scott Fuller

+ My fave part of season 3 was Scott’s Christian vampire rock band! Anything with that would make me so happy—-Scott recruiting his rock band, a snapshot of their shows, them hunting other bad people together, or just how they get by day to day. If you wanna write shippy fic, feel free. I am down for vampire foursomes and Scott’s new vampire family getting up to post feeding orgies.

+ I especially really like the Scott and Tommy dynamic and would love to see how they met—-how did Scott save him and what Scott did to make Tommy so grateful to him for saving his life but also viciously angry with him as well?

+ Scott returning back to his rock band post s3.

+ I'd love something post s3 with any combination of Scott, Carlos, and Kisa; Carlos helping Kisa rebuild the culebra community, Scott and Kisa bonding together, Carlos trying to be Scott’s buddy again despite being murdered by him and Scott still hating him. Or the three of them as an odd family dynamic. Give me Scott calling Kisa grandma.

+ I would also love Scott & Kisa walking the earth together, and maybe eventually coming together in a coupley way as well.

+ Creepy Scott/Carlos shenanigans. I love shady vampire mentor Carlos who preys on Scott’s need for approval and family.

+ Scott killing all of his high school bullies. I'd love to see more of that rampage, why he posed the bodies ritualistically, if he was trying to hurt Kate or just focused on revenge.

+ Scott being haunted by Kate, either with dreams, nightmares, Amaru tormenting him with Kate’s face, or an AU where Kate is a ghost or a revenant who rose again to torment him. I'd love anything set post s2. Go as AU as you want.

+ Scott forcing Kate to turn, either in mid s2 or at the end of s2, so she doesn't die. All the ugly fallout.

Sonja Lam

+ The Gecko brothers breaking her out of prison, at any point in canon or post canon. Or someone else breaks her out, maybe Eddie, maybe Kisa.

+ Vanessa crosses with the Gecko brothers and goes to Mexico with them. How does everything else happen and shake out with that in mind?

+Jumping off that, turn Vanessa into a vampire instead of Richie, or with Richie. Have Kisa take her under her wing as well or instead. Vanessa as Kisa’s champion to set her free. Make Vanessa the one having weird visions.

In terms of gen, I love the whole losers club and I want any combo of my requested characters interacting with each other, or with the other Losers. I have a lot of single character centric requests, but I would be overjoyed with fic of the entire Losers Club together as well.

General Losers gen requests:

+ I want anything that fills in the gaps between the first movie and the second movie. Adulthood, college, high school years. At what point did they all lose touch with each other? How long did it take for them to lose their memories of each other? Did something ever remind them of each other even while they were out living their adult lives? Bev catches Richie's stand up on a netflix special? Eddie picks up a copy of Bill's book and has some half vague memory of him he can't quite hold on to?

+ Them running into each other, before chapter 2, in some other capacity, and not entirely remembering the other. Maybe Richie and Bill ran into each other in Hollywood, or Eddie and Stan ended up crossing paths—-any combo of a potential meet up would be interesting. They don't entirely know the other person but there's a horrible familiarity they can’t shake.

+ Post chapter 2 fic, with Eddie and/or Stan alive, if you want. I'd love to see all the losers sort of intertwined in each other's lives going forward, like agreeing to meet up again annually, keeping in touch with one another, spending the holidays together. I want Mike's roadtrip, and would love it if other losers joined him on it. I want Beverly recovering from her abusive marriage, with Ben or her friends or both. I want Eddie realizing he should divorce his wife but not sure what to do with himself after. I just plain want more of Stan.

+ I love trauma and coping with and hurt/comfort regarding trauma. I would love to see something set after the first movie, when the memories of IT are still fresh, maybe during the time period when everyone was seeing Pennywise but not able to fight him yet, or the losers as older teenagers in high school, who still have Pennywise related trauma despite it being years later.

+ I'd also love something after the movie. I want a big losers club cuddle pile, or helping each other with nightmares or panic attacks, sharing a bed to ward off bad dreams. Some of my favorite moments are Eddie reassuring Stan they'd never leave him, Richie insisting Eddie look at him while Pennywise approaches, Bev being violently defensive of her found family, etc. I just love when any of the losers are tender towards one another and protective of each other.

+ I spent the whole movie expecting Mike to suggest an orgy to defeat Pennywise or perform the ritual. I still want that, tbh—-or an orgy to bond them all closer together so they don't forget. Or instead of the sewers/house collapsing in them, they're trapped there and having sex together unlocks the way out. I would enjoy a fuck or die, or sex pollen scenario, but honestly I just want the Losers to tenderly, desperately, reaffirm their bond and how much they love each other with sex.

+ Childhood hijinks. Teenage dirtbags, and hazy adolescent summer memories. Carnival fun times. High school together. Horrible, bittersweet nostalgia. I love the 80s setting so much.

+ The losers + Halloween. The losers + the fall weather. Halloween parties, horror marathons, apple cider drinking, pumpkin rides, spin the bottle, sleepovers, all the fun cliched stuff for my kids.

+ I'd kill for a vampire AU tbh. Pennywise as a vampire terrorizing Derry. Or maybe all of the Losers club gets turned into teen vampires? The losers turning each other into vampires one by one until they make their own little lost boys vampire coven.

+ The Losers club as a werewolf pack would also be amazing.

+ Sense8 AU

+ The Losers’ club as a group of serial killers.

+ All the losers get superpowers as a reward for defeating Pennywise.

+ Pennywise adopts the Losers Club. Take this in several directions! Maybe he decides instead of trying to kill them, to reward these kids with powers or gifts so they’re thankful to him instead. Or maybe from the start he never tries to kill them but tries to get them to join him; instead of feeding on their fears, he encourages them all to act on their darkest desires and/or grooms them to bring him sacrifices. I’d be happy with something where the kids see through Pennywise and reject him but also a dark bad end AU where adult losers are all disciples of Pennywise.

+ In general, I really love the thought of all the adults actively aiding and abetting Pennywise, thinking him a god in town they have to sacrifice children to, and the losers coping with that.

+ Or the losers pulling a “children of the corn” thing and killing all the adults in Derry and forming their own society.

+ The losers as mutants AU.

Eddie

+ Any and all Eddie lives fics. How does he go on with his life after defeating Pennywise? What changes for him? I would love for him to decide to uproot his whole life, go off with Richie or Beverly or another loser. Anything with him coping with the trauma of what they all went through, whether past trauma or more recent trauma, in healthy or unhealthy ways, would be great.

+ Eddie and Beverly move in together, post canon.

+ Exploring Eddie and his relationship to disease, sickness, hypochondria and placebos. Eddie trying to escape his mother’s tight control, maybe going too far and doing reckless things while doing so, getting into trouble or in over his head.

+ Eddie runs away from home and turns to sex work for survival.

+ Eddie comes back wrong, of course. As a zombie, a sapient one, who needs to eat other people to survive. As a vampire, as a werewolf, as something not totally human. Eddie comes back amoral and not entirely quite right but the losers still love him and do anything for him.

+ Ghost Eddie, haunting all of his friends. I have a fondness for ghost Eddie haunting Richie (and ghost Eddie/Richie) but I would love to see Eddie interact with other losers as well, especially Mike or Bill for guilt reasons.

+ I'd love to see Eddie's friendship with the other losers, especially Mike and Stan and Beverly.

+ Any kind of monster Eddie. Vampire Eddie who is terrified of what he is, for instance, and trying to cope with that. I’d especially love this with teen Eddie.

+ Eddie vs the leaper. I’d love anything exploring what it means to him, psychologically, or in a psychosexual creepy way.

Mike

+ Mike, watching his friends leave Derry and forget him, one by one

+ Mike throughout the years. I loved how manic and edgy he was in the movie, I loved that he lived in the library and had a police scanner that he was on high alert for and never forgot his duty, at the cost of some of his sanity and social life and any semblance of a normal life. I would love to see Derry slowly eating away at him the longer he stays, maybe with Pennywise not quite coming back but his influence affecting Mike in other ways.

+ More weird drug trips and surreal moments and hallucinations. Or expand on the weird drug trip he forced Bill on.

+ Bill & Mike, set after the movie, or Bill/Mike. Roadtrips, phone calls, weekly check ins. That forehead touch did me in.

+ Mike crashing on all of his friends’ couches. Mike staying with Ben & Beverly (and maybe leading to Mike/Ben/Beverly), or moving in with Bill & Audra, or he and Eddie getting a place together post Eddie’s divorce.

+ OPOV on Mike, throughout all these years.

+ Mike visits Patty after IT Chapter 2, after he gets Stan’s letter. Maybe he feels the need to personally thank her, or maybe he wants to know who she is, curious about the woman his friend married; maybe Mike is trying to get to know who Stan became before he lost him so soon, and Patty is curious about this stranger from her husband’s past (yes I would like Mike/Patty grief sex).

+ Stan’s ghost haunts Mike. Eddie’s ghost haunts Mike. Mike on a roadtrip with ghost Stan and Eddie hanging out in the backseat.

+ AU where Mike DOESN’T stay in Derry. This can be a version of events where someone else stays instead, or no one does. Mike becoming an investigative journalist, maybe. What’s it like for Mike to be on the other end of that phone call?

+ More of Mike’s family. Does he have a grandmother? How do they get along? What about extended relatives? What’s life on the farm like after IT Chapter 1? Is there a noticeable change in Mike now that he has friends and defeated his bully? Does Leory know about Pennywise and was trying to protect Mike from him?

+ Mike interviewing Don in the aftermath of Adrian’s death. Mike and Don becoming friends, or more. Or Mike meeting Adrian before he dies, maybe Adrian hanging around at the library and getting to know Mike; maybe even an AU where he manages to stop his death.

Stan

+ I loved everything the new movie gave us about Stan, especially that final letter. I'd love to see more of Stan as a teenager, in Derry, and his friendship with all the others, his practicality and him defying family expectations. Stan rebelling against his father, whether in secret or in public, would be great. Stan striking up a secret relationship with someone (Mike? Richie? Beverly? Gretta?) in order to rebel against his father.

+ More of Richie & Stan or Richie/Stan, especially during the time period all the losers broke up and split apart. Richie cheering Stan on during his bar mitzvah and encouraging his defiant moment! Richie checking on him afterwards and being impressed by him! Show me the start of that friendship.

+ Richie is Stan’s first kiss. Or maybe he’s Eddie’s first kiss. Stan having overly intimate relationships with his best friends.

+ Stan and his trauma. Stan being haunted by Derry and Pennywise emotionally and mentally. Stan looking at the scars on his face and not remembering where he got them and only feeling a sudden sharp stab of fear.

+ Stan comes to Derry, a little late, with fresh bandages on his wrists. Or basically, give me a Stan who tried to kill himself, survived, and decided he may as well die with his friends and go to Derry.

+ Stan getting comforted by any of the Losers. Especially if it's adult Stan who didn't die and made his way to Derry. All the losers visiting Stan in the hospital post suicide attempt.

+ Ghost Stan haunting all the Losers.

+ Stan having psychic powers. I loved the bit in the book that implies he’s a little psychic and I’d love to see something with teen Stan developing psychic powers, maybe due to being in the deadlights even for a very brief moment of time. Stan seeing the future, or reading thoughts, or just knowing things he shouldn’t know.

+ Something soft and sweet, with Stan bird watching with his friends, or staring at the stars with Mike, or he and Eddie finding a turtle.

+ Stan wakes up with wings. He doesn’t like them.

+ Stan developing an interest in photography and taking photos of all the losers.

Beverly

+ Post canon things. Getting together with Ben, or wanting to get together with Ben but scared to be in another relationship. Snapshots of her interactions with all the losers post canon.

+ Beverly having psychic powers. Beverly watching all the losers die every day in her head, in her dreams.

+ Beverly having psychic powers, but different than death visions. Maybe she gets telekinetic powers, like Carrie, or reads minds.

+ Beverly as a witch, or a vampire, or a werewolf. Maybe her mom was some kind of monster and her dad keeps trying to repress that part of her but with the losers club, she finally feels free to be herself.

+ Beverly’s life, before joining the losers’ club. What was her relationship with the other losers? Did she get along with any of them? What about Gretta and her group of bullies? Was Beverly ever a part of that group and they casted her out?

+ Beverly and the Bowers gang; Henry acts like he’s fucked Bev and I’m sure he hasn’t but I’d love to read him with crush on Beverly and thinking she’s really cool, and her rejecting him. On another, somewhat different note, I’d also love to read about Beverly having a bad idea sexual relationship with Henry or Patrick that she’s ashamed of but carries on out of a sense of shame, self loathing, or just an urge for independence.

+ Beverly and Eddie's friendship makes me so happy. Either as teens, with both of them bonding over a desire for freedom, or as adults, both of them bonding post chapter 2

+ I’d love Beverly/Ben fic set after the movie, especially with them trying to navigate a healthy relationship together, but not sure how; neither of them have ever really been in one. I’d love for them to run into pitfalls or not sure how to properly communicate. Maybe Beverly has some leftover habits from living with Tom that horrify Ben.

+ Beverly having affairs while married to Tom, either with men or women. Either with OCs, or the losers. Maybe Ben is designing a building for Tom and she and him strike up an affair. I’d be interested in her having an affair with all the losers, even Richie, despite being gay; I love the thought of Richie trying hard to pretend to be straight and meeting Beverly and feeling such a powerful connection to her that he thinks he’s may be straight for Beverly (and it turns out he’s not but it was a worth a shot).

+ I’d basically love to see Beverly as a hot mess, and not having her life together.

+ The sewer gangbang in the book; I don’t want anything with ages that young but I would love older teenager Beverly, trying to reassert her sense of freedom and independence by inviting all her male friends to fuck her. I would especially like it if she’s not entirely sure what she’s doing, if they don’t know what they’re doing, if they’re a little nervous or anxious and scared to accidentally hurt her. I would really love it if Beverly doesn’t expect much or doesn’t think she’ll orgasm, but then the boys overwhelm her with how much they love her.

+ I tend to handwave Beverly moving to Portland for most things; I’d prefer to read about her going to high school with the losers and imagine her aunt moved to Derry instead. But if you do wanna write about Beverly in Portland, I’d love to see something sad about her losing her memories the longer she’s away...or something where she retains them for some reason or another...maybe she gets turned into a vampire or discovers she’s a witch or ends up soulbonded to the other losers.

Georgie

+ Georgie lives and grows up really traumatized! I love cute kid Georgie but I’d love to see Georgie age into adolescence and having a very troubled time (for example, acting out, getting into fights, angry about losing an arm, nightmares, PTSD flashbacks, having a hard time making friends because no one understands what he went through). Maybe he lost his arm and has a lot of trauma from Pennywise eating his arm. Maybe he did get taken into the sewer but ended up surviving for reasons he doesn’t fully understand or entirely remember.

+ Georgie gets powers in exchange for surviving Pennywise. Or maybe spending some time in the deadlights means he got super powers.

+ Adult Georgie becomes part of the fighting Pennywise group.

+ Georgie is the one who stays behind in Derry and calls everyone.

+ Patrick/Georgie: I love the thought of Patrick inexplicably surviving being attacked by Pennywise and he and Georgie bonding when Georgie is older (teenager or adult). I really especially love the thought of Georgie striking up a bad idea relationship with this one person who could maybe understand him, even if he’s a terrible person.

+ For something really dark, Pennywise doesn’t eat Georgie and lets him live but sends him back to the losers with a little piece of himself inside him, like a horcrux.

+ Or Pennywise adopts Georgie instead of eating him and makes him his apprentice. Bill and all the losers to see creepy kid Georgie hanging around every time a kid dies, smiling and covered in blood.

+ For something cuter, I really like the thought of Georgie growing up and getting a crush on any loser. It could be Richie because he’s funny and makes gross jokes, or Beverly because she’s always sweet to him, Stan because Stan connects to his almost-eaten-by-Pennywise trauma, Mike because he’s around a lot and always very gentle with Georgie, Eddie because he relates to Georgie or Ben because he’s a sweetheart. I would love to see Georgie have a tiny crush and give the older losers flowers, cards, arts and crafts—or if Georgie is an older teenager and the losers are young adults, maybe he makes them a mixtape or gets awkwardly flirty and tries to woo one of them! I would not be opposed to actual dating as long as Georgie is a teenager, and for Bill to lose his mind how dare anyone date his little brother.

+ Role reversal! Bill goes missing! Georgie has to figure it out and defeat Pennywise. Fee free to age Georgie up a bit as long as he’s still the baby brother. Feel free to tragically kill Bill off for Georgie’s superhero origin story too!

+ I would also like Georgie to have his own losers club group of friends. I’m a little intrigued by the thought of Avery Hockstetter being Georgie’s friend, especially if Patrick goes missing (and does not murder Avery) and Avery himself is a little off kilter.

+ Bill does terrible things to bring Georgie back to life. Or Bill trades himself for Georgie.

+ I’m really into Bill/Georgie; I’d love for Georgie to survive and for both of them to grow up very codependent with each other. Bill is afraid to push Georgie away because the last time he did he got attacked. And Georgie doesn’t feel safe anywhere except with his brother. Creepy twisted codependency yes please.

The Lodge (2020)
Requested Characters: Grace Marshall, Aiden Hall
I ship: Grace/Aiden, Aiden/Mia.

+ A look into Grace’s past, growing up in the cult and the deprogramming she must have had to do.

+ I am curious about the relationship Grace had with Richard. It struck me as a bit skeevy, given he was researching cults and he ended up dating the subject of one of his books, or at least, that was the impression I got. So I guess I would like to see how they met, how their relationship happened; you don’t need to go with the fully skeevy interpretation and I would also like to see Richard being good for Grace as well, but if you want to lean into the skeevy elements, feel free; maybe Richard dates her initially to get more information for his book and ends up in too deep?

+ Happy ending for Grace; maybe she never goes on the trip? Maybe the kids don’t steal her meds? Maybe her dog doesn’t die! Something; I liked Grace so much and she deserved better.

+ AU where something spooky is totally happening at the Lodge; Grace, Mia and Aiden are trapped in purgatory? In a time loop? In a different alternate dimension that they slipped into? Something Silent Hill esque?

+ AU where nothing fatal happens during the trip but Aiden gets a hate crush on Grace...maybe things progress to more. I'm intrigued by the creepy shot of him watching her in the shower in the film and I’d like to see him develop feelings for her that he feels guilty for or hates himself for, struggling with blaming her for his mom’s death and his attraction. It can definitely be one sided but I’m also interested if Grace and Aiden eventually having an affair.

+ Post canon fic where everyone dies, and they end up haunting the Lodge; maybe in a time loop, not knowing they’re dead until it’s too late, having to relive their deaths over and over, or maybe fully aware of being ghosts. .

+ Post canon fic where Grace dies but Aiden and Mia survive. I am very into codependent siblings and I’m very into shipping codependent siblings so I want traumatized siblings ending up codependent and/or incestous together after the events of the movie. I’d prefer Mia to be a little older if you’re shipping them but mainly I want clinging together, PTSD, sleeping in each other’s beds, not being able to stand to be apart and being creepy together.

+ Aiden and Mia being evil and diabolical together is also great; I’d love to see the actual planning for their awful prank on Grace and just what they thought they were doing or how they expected this to end.

I really just want vampire Lolita. Tackle this however you want. An entire retelling of the story where Dolores is a child vampire and always has been? Maybe one that specifically targets pedophiles? Or maybe something after Humbert has kidnapped her away entirely; I’d love to see Dolores run away from him and come back a vampire to enact revenge, whether that’s killing him or making him her Renfield and forcing him to serve her. I’d love to see her gain the power to turn the tables on him. Maybe she dies during her illness in the hospital, only to come back from the dead as a vampire.

Or just give me a look at her life as a vampire. Maybe she gets turned and sees it as her chance to escape Hubert; I really want a dark kind of fix-it here, where Dolores gets to live happily ever after, either with a new name or not, even as a scary, amoral teen vampire.

IF you don’t want to write that, I love any kind of monster AUs for Dolores—-werewolf Lolita sounds AMAZING, honestly, or perhaps making her a witch—-or a look at her life after she leaves Hubert for good, married to her deaf mechanic. AU where she doesn’t die in childbirth at such a young age would be great.

Near Dark (1987)

I ship: Caleb/Mae, Caleb/Severen, Caleb/Mae/Severen

+ I love Caleb and his desire to remain moral and not get his hands dirty but also please his new family. I love the way he just drinks in the praise when he gets them out of a jam and how clearly he does want to belong. More of that, please. Caleb slowly gets more on board with being amoral the happier it makes his new family.

+ Future fic where Caleb stays a vampire and stays with Jesse and his people--how he ends up fitting in.

+ I'd love if the bar scene reached it’s full bloody massacre potential, and if Caleb killed someone, maybe the kid running away or someone else. Maybe he feels sick with himself and guilty, or maybe it awakes something dark inside him, enjoying it, or all those emotions at once.

+ Alternatively, Mae and Severen trying to get Caleb to kill in other ways. Maybe Mae kills someone and shares the blood with Caleb to keep him from killing himself or being killed by the family.

+ I never liked that the blood transfusion turns them back into humans. I'd like an AU where it doesn't work, or only works temporarily, with both Caleb and Mae having to live with what they are.

+ Mae fascinates me. I love her whole vibe and how she hunts. I'd love to see how she ended up in this vampire family, with Homer turning her and how she grows to be who she is today. Individual moments with her connecting to, or clashing with her family (be it Jesse, Diamondback, Severen, Homer) would be really great.

+ I loved the way Severen treated Caleb like a little brother, bullying him and looking down on him but also wanting to show him the ropes. I'd love more of that messy relationship and more twisted mentorship vibes and Severen being creepily touchy with him.

+ I don't want fic about Severen’s backstory, by which I mean, I don't want to know how he got to be this way or a villain origin story, I love that he just is. He’s just having a great time as a vampire. But I would love to see snapshots of Severen throughout the years and what kind of trouble he caused; the Chicago fire, for instance.

The Vampire Chronicles - Anne Rice

I ship: Daniel/Armand, Daniel/Lestat, Daniel/Lestat/Louis, Gabrielle/Lestat.

I haven't read a VC book since Blood Canticle (I read...parts of Merrick & Blackwood Farm but gave up on both of them), so if there's any future plot developments you would like to work in, feel free—I’m especially interested in Daniel & Armand together in later books—but I don't need fic to be fully canon compliant and I welcome any kind of canon divergent AU.

Daniel

+ Daniel showing Armand all the modern human developments he missed. Daniel mocking Armand for being an immortal idiot.

+ I'd love anything set when Daniel was on the Night Island, especially if he interacts with other characters, such as the older ancient vampires, incorporating his curiosity and status as a reporter in any way.

+ I'm curious about what Daniel got up to when he and Armand separated. I'd love to see how Daniel and Marius ended up living together for a while, but also just Daniel on his own, as a new, off-kilter vampire.

+ Queen of the Damned takes place on Halloween! It's just perfect. I'd love to see more of Daniel’s first night as a vampire and how he adjusts, or doesn't adjust to it, losing himself in the process and going even further mad. I was always really interested in Daniel’s fucked up, slightly insane state of mind after he becomes a vampire.

+ I absolutely love how self destructive he is, especially when he's desperate and needy for Armand and hates himself for feeling that way. Give me codependent, hard drinking Daniel, please.

+ Anything focusing on Daniel's desire to be a vampire--his own obsession with Armand, or his journey to find Lestat--or his fixation and romanticization of morbid, dangerous things.

+ Daniel and Armands weird cat and mouse game throughout the years. Armand stalking Daniel, and Daniel trying to stay interesting enough so he isn't killed, Daniel coming to look forward to being stalked and missing Armand when he's gone.

+ AU where Daniel actually does find Lestat instead of Armand. I'd love to see that relationship and how combustible it'd be.

Gabrielle

+ Pre-canon. Being trapped in a marriage she hates. I’d love to see Gabrielle hating the role imposed on her by society and the trappings of motherhood while also loving her son Lestat and connecting to him the most. I love that juxtaposition.

+ Gabrielle and her favorite son and the special bond they share in particular. Gabrielle living vicariously through him. Gabrielle seeing him as the male part of her, or the male version of her.

+ Her time on her own, exploring the world.

+ Gabrielle adapting and adopting to modern life.

+ Gabrielle&Lestat or Gabrielle/Lestat. The honeymoon period of their lives after Lestat turns her. The years they spent together after being turned. Anything heightened erotic and/or uncomfortable intimacy.

+ Typically, I read Gabrielle as a cis woman struggling with the limitations of the time period, but I’d love to see Gabrielle written as a trans man in an era where there’s no word for how they feel, or as a non binary person, or as someone struggling with gender identity issues. I basically want fic about the character’s gender issues and what avenues open up to Gabrielle in a more modern world. I’d really especially love to read a take on this prompt with a Gabrielle/Lestat angle, given that she mentions he’s the ‘male part’ of her and how would he react if Gabrielle fully transitions (I don’t want transphobia narratives, at all, I want Lestat to accept Gabrielle no matter who they are, I just want Lestat being puzzled about it and need to redefine himself in light of his mom’s redefinition).

Sybelle & Benji

+ I grouped these two together because I really strongly associate them together and I’m primarily interested in their relationship together. How do they both relate and connect to each other once they’re vampires?

+ I loved that they rescued Armand and I’d love to see their POV on that situation, taking care of this ancient vampire and bringing him people to eat...it’s a big step to go from normal people to luring others to their deaths, so I’d love to see their feelings on that and the morality of it all. I’d also be interested in Sybelle and Benji taking turns feeding Armand themselves.

+ I don’t ship Armand with either of them, but I’d want something that really digs into their dynamic together and the intimacy there. I especially love Armand resolving to protect them and would like an AU where they don’t become vampires but Armand takes care of both of them throughout the years.

+ How do they adapt to being vampires? How do they get along with Marius? What’s their relationship with Armand like going forward? How do they interact and get along with Daniel?

+ Pre-canon stuff or at least, stuff set before Armand came into their lives. I am fascinated by Sybelle’s abusive brother, and the fact that her brother kidnapped Benji (a child!) to be her companion. I’d love to see her trying to survive and manage him, and how Benji copes with kidnapping and being trapped in this situation with Sybelle. I’d especially love a version of events where Sybelle is turned into a vampire and she kills her brother on her own. Or AU when they’re both human and Sybelle and Benji still take matters into their own hands and kill her brother for freedom.

+ I heard Benji has a podcast in the modern day and I just want more of that, Sybelle’s reaction, and the two of them living as vampires in 2020.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines (Video Game)
Requested Characters: Heather Poe, Knox Harrington, Fledgling, Mercurio, Beckett, Nines Rodriguez

I love this entire world, honestly. The atmosphere is so great. I love the gross grimy feel and the desolate city and all the bright lights of LA with its seedy underbelly. I love both the darkness and despair and the sheer absurdity of it all (no, you stop!) Give me anything set in this world and I'd adore it.

As for the Fledgling, I have a preference for a female one for ships with women and a male one for shipping with men. Malkavian is my favorite clan and I'd love to read about a Malkavian player character navigating that radical change in their lives, but all the clans are fun!

+ Beckett is so cool! I’d love a missing scene that’s his POV on the game. He seems to have so much inside knowledge he’s withholding from the fledgling, so I’d love to see what he’s doing when he’s not running into the playable character. Him interacting with Lacroix, any of the ghouls, Strauss, Isaac, would be great.

+ Beckett in wolf form. That’s it, that’s the prompt. Wolf form is cool.

+ Beckett on any of his adventures, exploring, traveling the world. His version of vampirism seems ideal, constant pursuit of knowledge and being a lone wolf, staying out of politics.

+ I love everything about Nines. The thought of a latino vampire turned in the middle of the great depression and all of that informing his approach to unlife is utterly fascinating to me. I’d love to see Nines as human, Nines as a newborn vampire, Nines thrown into a dark violent world and forced to adapt rapidly. I’d also love to see how he ended up rising through the ranks until he became the de facto leader of the anarchs.

+ Nines vs the Fledgling. By which I mean, I would love for them to interact, but I also thought it was clear that Nines is manipulating the Fledging for his own ends as well (as are most people in the game) so I basically want an emotional power struggle between them. Nines trying to manipulate, the fledgling trying to resist, or getting taken in by his charm.

+ Nines interacting with the rest of the anarchs. A day in the life in The Last Round. How does Nines get along with everyone else, what does he do at The Last Round, and what does he do to make everyone follow him?

+ Post canon look at Nines; feel free to pick whichever ending you want to go with. Does he get a post Camarilla LA he wants, or do things get worse for him?

+ I would love something that's from the POV of the Fledgling. I know the story is essentially about them but they don't actually have much of a personality. I'd love something that incorporates some of the in game histories (lounge singer! Stripper! Con artist! Mortician!). I would love to see the slow slide from being a newborn fledgling who still has a lot of human morals and morality, to a hardened, powerful vampire. Any clan is great—-I would love to read about the fledgling adjusting to their powers or clan weakness. For direction, I love Malkavian, Tremere and Gangrel best but I will enjoy any clan.

+ I love all the ghouls! I'd love to see maybe Knox and Mercurio work together on something. Knox visits the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and ends up fighting zombies with Romero. Heather Poe and Knox have a chat. I genuinely love all these characters, any kind of interaction would be a delight.

+ Knox and Bertram’s first meeting. Maybe Bertram following him and stalking him for a while before deciding he's worthy of being a ghoul. I'd also love more of what Bertram sees in him, since he had mostly praise for him. I'd adore anything with Knox being competent and manipulative and using his general demeanor and motor mouth to throw people off his scent.

+ Nosferatu Knox, years down the line.

+ Knox/Bertram would be great, especially with how excited Knox is about him being a nosferatu and working for him.

+ I would love for the Fledgling and Knox to continue to work together further down the line and to have an actual friendship. Knox continuing to ask Fledging for help and/or returning that help with a favor later on.

+ Mercurio backstory. I love that he feels like he belongs in a gangster movie, except his mob boss is a fancy French vampire. I'd love to read more about how he ended up with Lacroix and what their relationship is like; he doesn't seem to like him but doesn't resent being in his service either, my loyalties are all but written in blood and all that. Mercurio/Lacroix welcomed but not necessary.

+ What happened in New York to drive Mercurio away?

+ Heather is my fave. I always feel so sad about her fate. I would love fix it fic where she lives another day, and either continues to be blood bound to the Fledgling or moves on with her life, eventually forgetting about all the dark horrors she was briefly exposed to.

+ Anything dark, creepy and fucked up about Heather subsuming her whole identity to the main character. Her disappearing from her friends and family’s lives, dropping out of college...I loved all the horror of her completely losing herself. I really in particular love when you play as Malkvaian, and she starts having Malkavian insight, hallucinations and flat out catches people for the Fledgling to eat. I'd love to see more of that, or in general, Heather taking on more traits of a vampire and more drawbacks to being a blood bound ghoul.

+ I creepy ship Heather/female Fledgling a lot. I would love some Stockholm/Lima syndrome vibes between them. Feel free to lean into the dark mind control, intense blood bond induced feelings of love aspect. I'm fine with noncon due to the blood bond, or dubcon so dub it's more noncon for this relationship. I like to imagine the Fledgling treating her sweetly and showing affection, but still using her for blood and errands, and the relationship never fully being equal. I especially love the Fledgling not knowing the extent of their will they’re imposing on their ghoul because being a vampire is so new to them. The Fledgling accidentally mindfucking Heather too hard because they don’t understand how the blood bond works would be terrible and tragic but fascinating.

+ Vampire Heather would be great.
