Dear Yuletide 2021 writer,
Thank you so much for writing for me! There's a lot of things I like and only a few dealbreakers, so if none of my prompts spark your interest, feel free to go with another idea or something else, as long as my DNWs aren't hit. I generally love a lot of prompts, they help me write, so I try to include as much as I can for my potential writer--but if you have another idea that you want to write, that you think I’ll like, go for it!

+ Seasonal/Winter Likes: People having their own, idiocrynstastic holiday traditions, especially non religious or non-Christmas traditions. Non-Christmas holidays/observations. Going to mass/temple/church while not being religious. Being alone on Christmas, and then a friend (or more) show up to keep them company. Nostalgia—remembering better days. Making new Christmas/Holiday memories with a new partner. Characters who hate the holidays because of trauma enjoying themselves again. Winter folklore/mythology. Requested Characters: Carlos Madrigal, Santanico Pandemonium | Kisa, Paloma Gutierrez
I ship these three in all permutations. I would love a fic with all three of them, but that’s not necessary and most of my prompts can be taken in a gen way.
Carlos Madrigal
+ Backstory, human Carlos, Carlos Felipe, what Carlos was like back in Spain, and him with his commander before he betrayed him. Did they like each other or did Carlos always hate him?
+ Carlos spreading the legend of Kisa around throughout the centuries, setting up shrines in different locations and preaching her gospel, so to speak. I would love to see him at the center of her religion.
+ On the flipside, anything exploring the complicated relationship between Carlos and Kisa, especially how she doesn’t want to be worshipped. I’d also love to see their relationship grow from Carlos being the first vampire she turns, then fall apart over the years. Kisa watching the man she turned lose his humanity would be fascinating.
+ Carlos trying to navigate Malvado and the culebra underworld throughout the years. Especially watching the person he turned into a vampire, Narciso, rise higher in the ranks than him.
+ The whole Carlos/Narciso backstory and eventual betrayal.
+ Carlos interacting with either Gecko, especially while trying to seduce them to El Rey, or post S1, with his anger at Richie. Maybe Carlos trying to bond with Seth over being abandoned by Richie and Kisa.
+ Post s1, Carlos stalking Freddie, in a weird attempt to be friends.
+ Carlos and his time in Xibalba. I was intrigued by his connection to Amaru, yet how he didn't seem to be mind controlled by her. I would also like to see him interacting with Brasa, since Brasa is such a foil to Carlos in many ways.
Paloma Gutierrez
+ AU where Paloma does NOT die. Any way you wanna do it. Maybe that was only a hallucination of Paloma that Kisa saw, maybe she never got captured by Malvado or went looking for him, maybe Kisa wanders into a truckstop or diner and finds Paloma alive and well.
+ All the creepy dubcon Paloma/Kisa Stockholm Syndrome/Lima Syndrome issues. Kisa feeding off Paloma when she offers, or Kisa giving her more of a taste of her power. I love the thought of vampire Paloma, especially with reluctant mentor Kisa and Paloma angry at her but wanting to be like her as well. Give me all the fucked up shenanigans.
+ Paloma backstory and growing up worshipping Santanico Pandemonium instead of a traditional god. Paloma backstory re: whatever drove her to cross the border and leave her country. Paloma and her family and what she left behind.
+ Paloma survives, becomes a vampire, and runs off to do her own thing.
+ Or Carlos ends up turning Paloma into a vampire. Show me their dynamic. Feel free to take it to a dark place (Carlos forcing Paloma to turn in 2x04 and traumatizing her), him kidnapping her and using her, projecting his Kisa feelings on her, or you can have them getting to know and understand each other. I really like them as foils and mirrors of one another, with Carlos one of Kisa’s oldest worshippers, and Paloma a modern day worshipper of her.
+ Paloma becomes a vampire. Kisa and Carlos have to teach her how to be a culebra.
+ Paloma and apotheosis; Paloma becoming La Diosa, whatever that means for her.
+ Paloma & Richie have a moment together. Maybe Paloma trying to convince Richie to set her free. Maybe Richie feeling guilty about the whole kidnapping and using her as bait, but still going through it. If Paloma becomes a vampire, I’d love to see them interact in the future.
Santanico Pandemonium | Kisa
+ Post canon. Rebuilding the culebra world, with Kisa as their leader. Adjusting to being seen as a queen and declaring herself the queen of culebras. Struggling with that responsibility.
+ Kisa and Carlos post canon, finding their way back to each other, perhaps tentatively reconciling, or perhaps Kisa holding him at arm’s length.
+ Post S2 fic. Kisa on her journey throughout the country on her motorcycle. Kisa trying to find herself. Kisa having her own little roadtrip and seeing all the tourist traps the US has to offer. Kisa encounters other types of monsters, myths and legends. Kisa reconciles with the current country borders that didn’t exist when she got locked up in the temple.
+ For kisa + Geckos or Seth/Richie/Kisa, I'd love any kind of tropey scenario—-sharing one bed together, crossdressing for a job, stuck in an elevator together, fake married (either one of them to Kisa, or Geckos to each other), fake dating, body switching (though I prefer that between Geckos mainly). I really love snowed in trope for the three of them, or trapped in some location together.
+ I loved the whole time period where Richie and Kisa were dating, how kind of sweet they were but also dark and macabre. I'd love to see anything from those three months they were together, whether working on revenge, practicing and planning heists, Richie showing her modern stuff and taking her to diners and convenience stores, them eating people together, Kisa teaching Richie how to be a vampire, him forcing his movies on her, long stake outs, awkward dates, etc.
+ Strange Things Afoot at the Circle K—-or, Richie takes Kisa to her first convenience store.
+ Kisa/Manola backstory! Tell me more about Manola. Tell me more about how she gave herself to Kisa! Tell me more about their relationship and how it grew and how she got Kisa to open up to her.
+ Seth/Kisa working together, growing closure, fake dating undercover stuff for a job. I love the scene where he offered her his blood? I want to see more of that. Maybe they have a strangely intimate connection from there on out.
Midnight Mass
Requested Characters: Father Paul Hill | Monsignor Pruitt, Riley Finn
Ships I’d love to see: Pruitt/Riley, Riley/Erin, Pruitt/Riley/Erin, Hassan/Riley, Hassan/Riley/Erin, Pruitt/Mildred, Pruitt/The Angel
I really love Riley/Pruitt and I would love to see anything exploring their dynamic and their relationship with each other throughout their lives, but I am also very interested in their relationships with other people and especially their relationship with Crockett Island itself and the community as a whole. I am interested in all of them solo, lots of gen in various combinations together, or with any of the requested ships I mentioned.
Pruitt
+ All the Pruitt & Riley backstory! I’d love to see what their dynamic was like before Riley left the island. Riley says he only became an altar boy for the chicks and had no further aspirations, but he also seemed protective of Pruitt and respectful of him (he has his picture in his room!), so I’d love to see more of Riley growing up with Pruitt, maybe seeing him as a friend or father figure that he still respects even after losing his faith.
+ Pruitt/Riley stuff right after Riley becomes a vampire. It doesn’t have to be shippy—-I would love to see more of Pruitt restraining Riley to keep him from feeding, mentoring him in being a vampire (however badly he approaches it), or just trying to help in his creepy vampire priest way. But I would also love to see them more drawn to each other because of some spiritual vampire dad/vampire son connection (the line where Pruitt says he felt Riley die got to me a lot), or where they end up feeding off each other and then doing more sexual things to each other in the wake of Riley’s new transformation. AUs where the final episode doesn’t happen so Riley has to grapple more with what Pruitt is and what he has done to him is also fantastic.
+ Pruitt saving Riley from burning up in the sun in some way; maybe he intercepts him before he goes to find Erin, or he takes him home instead of letting him leave the rec center.
+ Vampire bloodlust or vampire sex pollen in which results in Riley and Pruitt needing to fuck to get their energy or bloodlust out or get the sex pollen out of their system.
+ AU where neither of them die and we get to see them living as vampires together. Perhaps Pruitt turns Riley into a vampire and Riley convinces him not to turn the whole town into vampires, so it’s just the two of them as vampires in Crockett for a while? I’d also love to see them travel together and try to make their new lives work. I love the push-pull between these two a lot and their different faiths and worldviews coming into conflict together but still having a deep respect and admiration for one another.
+ Pruitt/Mildred - I am a sucker for a star crossed romance! I’d love to see their early days with them sneaking around and Mildred cheating on her husband with him. I am both very into the sexy aspects of this (a priest breaking his vows! Sexy usage of) but also the angst of it all.
+ Pruitt and Sarah. Him watching her grow up, or her POV of Monsignor Pruitt. His perspective when he meets her again as Father Paul Hill. I loved what Sarah said about how Pruitt always stared at her and her thinking it’s because he somehow knew she was gay...but it turns out he’s staring at her all the time because she’s his daughter. Really anything focusing on their relationship, either pre-canon, during canon, or post canon AUs would be great.
+ AU where Pruitt decides to focus on saving Mildred and healing her instead. Maybe a focus on his visits to her from either of their perspectives, or the effects of his healing blood on her. Maybe a scene of her drinking his blood directly. I would also love something lighter and softer with here he turns her into a vampire and they run off to have a second honeymoon together. Or they stay in Crockett for a bit with Sarah having to live with them and her mom’s second period of youth.
+ Or for something darker, the island doesn’t burn down (but maybe Bev gets taken out or doesn’t get a chance to enact her “turn everyone and feed on non believers” plan), and now Pruitt has to preside over a congregation of newborn vampires. A Crockett Island full of mostly catholic vampires sounds so delightfully spooky.
+ Honestly, in general, any AU that fixes the end a little would make me happy. I would love to see newly deaged vampire Pruitt come to town and hold off from turning everyone into vampires. Maybe he takes his time, maybe he only turns a few people and they stop him from turning everyone else, maybe he just goes around trying to be a friendly vampire priest for a while, performing miracles and doing good deeds. I’d love it if he becomes a vampire and just starts holding mass at night full time and everyone else just goes with it.
+ I am very here for Pruitt/The Angel. Pruitt is just so worshipful and respectful of him and his body language around him just turns so submissive and docile and it’s delicious. I’d love monsterfucking—-I’d love to see Pruitt offer himself willingly to the Angel, either as a human or once he’s a vampire, maybe Riley walks in on something else between them when he goes into the rec center—-but I’m also interested in exploring their connection and dynamic. What does the Angel want from Pruitt? Is he fond of him in his own way? He got all dressed up for him, and Pruitt seems to have given him his clothes! What’s their mental communication like? Why did he save him instead of letting an old man die? I’m so fascinated by them!
+ In general, I’m really interested in just getting deeper in Pruitt’s transformation. I’d love to read worldbuilding on what being a vampire is like for him—-he’s wearing hoodies now that he’s a young man, did he pick those out himself? What does it feel like to go from having dementia to being a fully sharp young man again? Did he realize some things he hadn’t before? I would also love to see who he is feeding on after he eats Joe Collie (Bev? Struge? Or maybe another character) or how he handles his hunger otherwise; more of new weird vampire stuff
+ There’s a lot of narrative focus on Riley and his relationship with Pruitt but I would love to see more of Erin’s relationship with Pruitt, given she grew up on Crockett as well, and she remained a believer. I’m especially interested in her relationship to Pruitt and religion given she said she was a godless heathen as a kid.
Riley
+ If you want to dive into more of Riley, I’m fascinated by OPOV of him, both as he returns home as the scandalized, disgraced prodigal son, or how people on the island felt when he left home. Were they proud of him for going away? Did they resent him like his father did for being above island living? What about once he arrives? Do people avoid him because he’s no longer a Christian? Does he get rumors spread about him, especially because of his jail time? I’d especially love to see more Riley bonding with the outsiders of the town, like Joe Collie or Sheriff Hassan.
+ I’d love to see a non-vampire AU (or just an AU where Riley doesn’t become a vampire) where Riley just tries to adjust to life after wrecking his life on the mainland and struggling to stay sober and leaning on people like Erin or perhaps Pruitt (if he’s still hovering around in some capacity) to help with his sobriety.
+ In general, I love stories about addiction and struggling through that, and I really vibed with what Riley said that what happened to him was ordinary, that it wasn’t some grand thing, just an ordinary unfortunately commonplace tragedy. I’d love to see him lose his faith after his accident, more about him exploring other religions and points of views, and more focus on his guilt and nightmares and sense of directionlessness. I am also really interested in Riley falling into a hard drinking lifestyle and not noticing or thinking it’s a big deal because party drinking is so normalized. I’m curious if that started on the island or once he left home.
+ Riley & Erin, or Riley/Erin backstory. I am very fascinated by them growing up on the island together, especially with Riley as the altar boy and Erin as the godless heathen. I’d love to see them fooling around as teenagers but also Riley being a safe space for Erin to run to in order to get away from her abusive mother. I really love childhood friends to lovers, but feel free to keep them platonic. Some of my favorite moments were them sleeping in bed together, her supporting him despite what he’s done, and Riley building her a crib for her baby. If you want, I would love a fic of Riley and Erin just preparing to have her baby.
+ Hassan & Riley, or Hassan/Riley. When Hassan introduced himself to Riley and Riley said he’s read the Quran, I thought for sure they’d eventually end up working together and then I was really sad they never interacted. I would really love to see more of Riley getting to know Hassan and being one of the few people on the island that doesn’t have a problem with him or can even meet him halfway with his religion. Maybe they could run into each other or coffee dates in the early morning or before AA, or they both end up on the ferry at the same time for one reason or another.
+ I would love the love story of Hassan/Riley, sneaking around together and having an on-off affair that they’re hiding because the scandal would be immense.
+ Hassan & Riley & Erin or Hassan/Riley/Erin. Feel free to keep Riley a vampire or let him remain human, both are interesting scenarios for me. I do love the thought of Erin and Hassan (and perhaps other people?) teaming up to help keep Riley fed so he doesn’t end up eating an innocent person. I love the thought of a trauma bonding threesome post canon, in the event they all survive, one way or another. Feel free to also turn Erin and Hassan into vampires as well, I love that trope.
Saw
Requested Characters: Jill Tuck, Lawrence Gordon
The reveal at the end of Saw 7 has always stuck with me! I always felt sad we were robbed of Jill and Lawrence interaction and I have a big soft spot for the two of them, so I guess I’m requesting what could have been for these two but I’d also be into solo gen about them as well. Jill Tuck is a personal favorite of mine and I’ve always been curious with Lawrence after the first Saw and how he gets from there to Saw 7.
+ Jill/Lawrence getting together. Maybe in a stable relationship, with them falling for each other, or a one night stand, or a friends with benefits situation.
+ I’ve always been really soft on John’s request to Lawrence that he avenge Jill and I would love to see him work to protect her more directly and proactively instead of reacting.
+ In general, I’d just love to see them interact and their perspective. They’re both doctors who presumably took a Do No Harm oath and yet get drawn in carrying out John’s plans anyway. I’d love for them to just get drunk and try to reconcile those aspects with each other and with themselves.
+ Instead of going to the police, Jill goes to Lawrence to hide out and for protection. This saves her life.
Jill succeeds in killing Hoffman. Jill becomes the new Jigsaw. I’d love to see Lawrence help her out during this the way he helped John but I would be just as happy with a solo Jill gen fic. Jill deserved to become the main villain.
+ Any kind of Jill lives AU would make me happy.
+ Anything bridging the gap between Saw 1 and Saw 7 for Gordon. I know we saw brief glimpses of John mentoring Lawrence, but I’d love to see more of that, how he came to sympathize with him, how he felt about Adam dying, the fall out between him and his wife later. Feel free to lean into the Stockholm and conditioning that may have undergone.
Spiral: From The Book of Saw
Characters Requested: William Schenk, Zeke Banks
These two ate my brain. There’s something so deliciously twisted and lovely about William being so obsessed with Zeke because he’s the only person who looked out for him and sought justice for his father...then getting Zeke’s father killed himself. The layers of obsessiveness and fixation on Zeke is fascinating and I would just love to dig into it more. I ship them very much but I think a lot of these prompts can be taken in a gen direction, as long as it’s focused on the two of them, I’ll be happy with what you write :)
+ Post canon fic. Zeke hunting William down to get revenge (or justice) for his dead father. Zeke getting darker and maybe not living up to William’s ideals of him, or perhaps just playing into his hands. William hoped Zeke would blame the cops and not him for his death, but that’s okay; he can make Zeke see his point of view.
+ Or perhaps Zeke can’t even be mad at William for his father’s death because of all the horrible things he’s learned about him since.
+ I would love to see more of William trying to make Zeke see things his way, especially if he kidnaps him and doesn’t let him go until he understands. Feel free to lean into stockholm or attempted stockholm syndrome places.
+ Zeke tracks William down, but he can’t turn him in. He can’t make himself kill him either, even when he has him at gunpoint, even when William smiles at him like a little shit.
+ Zeke receiving little gifts, presents, or even tips from William, who is supposed to be on the run or in hiding. William calling Zeke, just to check on him, or say hi, and Zeke not able to turn him down completely, even if he acts angry.
+ William’s POV as he obsessively researches and stalks Zeke. William orphaning Zeke so they can be more alike. William trying to mold Zeke into his perfect partner in crime. Or perhaps, post canon, when Zeke finds William again, he’s ready to help him with his work instead. Them as partners in crime. Them being serial killers.
+ AU where William enacts his plan much sooner and decides to make contact with Zeke when he’s an underage kid or a trainee on the police force. I love the potential for age gap and inappropriateness here, with William just being very eager and acting like he wants to please Zeke and Zeke underestimating him because of his age. I'd love Zeke feeling guilty but also loving how much affection he gets from William and the way he looks at him with such wide-eyed hero worship. If he’s actually an underage kid seeking out his hero worship crush, I’d prefer for William to still be secretly very murderous, even if he’s clumsy or not sure how to go about it—I’d still like there to be that edge of darkness. Maybe he lies to Zeke about his age so Zeke will at least give him the time of day and not reject him out of hand for being a kid.
+ Alternatively, AU where William takes a lot slower to enact his plan, maybe taking the time to get to know Zeke more before he starts killing, being his partner for several months before the murders start. I would love terrible identity porn of William and Zeke falling for each other, developing a relationship beyond friendship, and then William starts killing other cops and people around them.
+ My brain always thinks William’s name is a reference to Max Schrenk. So, if you wanted to write some kind of monster AU, I would love that, thank you very much. Vampire William seeking Zeke out makes a perfect kind of gothic horror romantic sense to me.
+ I would love to see how William came to learn about building Saw traps and how to be a serial killer. It’d be really neat if he mentored with Logan from Jigsaw or Lawrence from the earlier Saw films. Feel free not to include Zeke in this specific prompt if it doesn’t fit the story; I am very interested in learning all the backstory.

+ Carlos interacting with either Gecko, especially while trying to seduce them to El Rey, or post S1, with his anger at Richie. Maybe Carlos trying to bond with Seth over being abandoned by Richie and Kisa.
+ Post s1, Carlos stalking Freddie, in a weird attempt to be friends.
+ Carlos and his time in Xibalba. I was intrigued by his connection to Amaru, yet how he didn't seem to be mind controlled by her. I would also like to see him interacting with Brasa, since Brasa is such a foil to Carlos in many ways.
+ AU where Paloma does NOT die. Any way you wanna do it. Maybe that was only a hallucination of Paloma that Kisa saw, maybe she never got captured by Malvado or went looking for him, maybe Kisa wanders into a truckstop or diner and finds Paloma alive and well.
+ All the creepy dubcon Paloma/Kisa Stockholm Syndrome/Lima Syndrome issues. Kisa feeding off Paloma when she offers, or Kisa giving her more of a taste of her power. I love the thought of vampire Paloma, especially with reluctant mentor Kisa and Paloma angry at her but wanting to be like her as well. Give me all the fucked up shenanigans.
+ Paloma backstory and growing up worshipping Santanico Pandemonium instead of a traditional god. Paloma backstory re: whatever drove her to cross the border and leave her country. Paloma and her family and what she left behind.
+ Paloma survives, becomes a vampire, and runs off to do her own thing.
+ Or Carlos ends up turning Paloma into a vampire. Show me their dynamic. Feel free to take it to a dark place (Carlos forcing Paloma to turn in 2x04 and traumatizing her), him kidnapping her and using her, projecting his Kisa feelings on her, or you can have them getting to know and understand each other. I really like them as foils and mirrors of one another, with Carlos one of Kisa’s oldest worshippers, and Paloma a modern day worshipper of her.
+ Paloma becomes a vampire. Kisa and Carlos have to teach her how to be a culebra.
+ Paloma and apotheosis; Paloma becoming La Diosa, whatever that means for her.
+ Paloma & Richie have a moment together. Maybe Paloma trying to convince Richie to set her free. Maybe Richie feeling guilty about the whole kidnapping and using her as bait, but still going through it. If Paloma becomes a vampire, I’d love to see them interact in the future.
+ Post canon. Rebuilding the culebra world, with Kisa as their leader. Adjusting to being seen as a queen and declaring herself the queen of culebras. Struggling with that responsibility.
+ Kisa and Carlos post canon, finding their way back to each other, perhaps tentatively reconciling, or perhaps Kisa holding him at arm’s length.
+ Post S2 fic. Kisa on her journey throughout the country on her motorcycle. Kisa trying to find herself. Kisa having her own little roadtrip and seeing all the tourist traps the US has to offer. Kisa encounters other types of monsters, myths and legends. Kisa reconciles with the current country borders that didn’t exist when she got locked up in the temple.
+ For kisa + Geckos or Seth/Richie/Kisa, I'd love any kind of tropey scenario—-sharing one bed together, crossdressing for a job, stuck in an elevator together, fake married (either one of them to Kisa, or Geckos to each other), fake dating, body switching (though I prefer that between Geckos mainly). I really love snowed in trope for the three of them, or trapped in some location together.
+ I loved the whole time period where Richie and Kisa were dating, how kind of sweet they were but also dark and macabre. I'd love to see anything from those three months they were together, whether working on revenge, practicing and planning heists, Richie showing her modern stuff and taking her to diners and convenience stores, them eating people together, Kisa teaching Richie how to be a vampire, him forcing his movies on her, long stake outs, awkward dates, etc.
+ Strange Things Afoot at the Circle K—-or, Richie takes Kisa to her first convenience store.
+ Kisa/Manola backstory! Tell me more about Manola. Tell me more about how she gave herself to Kisa! Tell me more about their relationship and how it grew and how she got Kisa to open up to her.
+ Seth/Kisa working together, growing closure, fake dating undercover stuff for a job. I love the scene where he offered her his blood? I want to see more of that. Maybe they have a strangely intimate connection from there on out.
Midnight Mass

I really love Riley/Pruitt and I would love to see anything exploring their dynamic and their relationship with each other throughout their lives, but I am also very interested in their relationships with other people and especially their relationship with Crockett Island itself and the community as a whole. I am interested in all of them solo, lots of gen in various combinations together, or with any of the requested ships I mentioned.
Pruitt
+ All the Pruitt & Riley backstory! I’d love to see what their dynamic was like before Riley left the island. Riley says he only became an altar boy for the chicks and had no further aspirations, but he also seemed protective of Pruitt and respectful of him (he has his picture in his room!), so I’d love to see more of Riley growing up with Pruitt, maybe seeing him as a friend or father figure that he still respects even after losing his faith.
+ Pruitt/Riley stuff right after Riley becomes a vampire. It doesn’t have to be shippy—-I would love to see more of Pruitt restraining Riley to keep him from feeding, mentoring him in being a vampire (however badly he approaches it), or just trying to help in his creepy vampire priest way. But I would also love to see them more drawn to each other because of some spiritual vampire dad/vampire son connection (the line where Pruitt says he felt Riley die got to me a lot), or where they end up feeding off each other and then doing more sexual things to each other in the wake of Riley’s new transformation. AUs where the final episode doesn’t happen so Riley has to grapple more with what Pruitt is and what he has done to him is also fantastic.
+ Pruitt saving Riley from burning up in the sun in some way; maybe he intercepts him before he goes to find Erin, or he takes him home instead of letting him leave the rec center.
+ Vampire bloodlust or vampire sex pollen in which results in Riley and Pruitt needing to fuck to get their energy or bloodlust out or get the sex pollen out of their system.
+ AU where neither of them die and we get to see them living as vampires together. Perhaps Pruitt turns Riley into a vampire and Riley convinces him not to turn the whole town into vampires, so it’s just the two of them as vampires in Crockett for a while? I’d also love to see them travel together and try to make their new lives work. I love the push-pull between these two a lot and their different faiths and worldviews coming into conflict together but still having a deep respect and admiration for one another.
+ Pruitt/Mildred - I am a sucker for a star crossed romance! I’d love to see their early days with them sneaking around and Mildred cheating on her husband with him. I am both very into the sexy aspects of this (a priest breaking his vows! Sexy usage of) but also the angst of it all.
+ Pruitt and Sarah. Him watching her grow up, or her POV of Monsignor Pruitt. His perspective when he meets her again as Father Paul Hill. I loved what Sarah said about how Pruitt always stared at her and her thinking it’s because he somehow knew she was gay...but it turns out he’s staring at her all the time because she’s his daughter. Really anything focusing on their relationship, either pre-canon, during canon, or post canon AUs would be great.
+ AU where Pruitt decides to focus on saving Mildred and healing her instead. Maybe a focus on his visits to her from either of their perspectives, or the effects of his healing blood on her. Maybe a scene of her drinking his blood directly. I would also love something lighter and softer with here he turns her into a vampire and they run off to have a second honeymoon together. Or they stay in Crockett for a bit with Sarah having to live with them and her mom’s second period of youth.
+ Or for something darker, the island doesn’t burn down (but maybe Bev gets taken out or doesn’t get a chance to enact her “turn everyone and feed on non believers” plan), and now Pruitt has to preside over a congregation of newborn vampires. A Crockett Island full of mostly catholic vampires sounds so delightfully spooky.
+ Honestly, in general, any AU that fixes the end a little would make me happy. I would love to see newly deaged vampire Pruitt come to town and hold off from turning everyone into vampires. Maybe he takes his time, maybe he only turns a few people and they stop him from turning everyone else, maybe he just goes around trying to be a friendly vampire priest for a while, performing miracles and doing good deeds. I’d love it if he becomes a vampire and just starts holding mass at night full time and everyone else just goes with it.
+ I am very here for Pruitt/The Angel. Pruitt is just so worshipful and respectful of him and his body language around him just turns so submissive and docile and it’s delicious. I’d love monsterfucking—-I’d love to see Pruitt offer himself willingly to the Angel, either as a human or once he’s a vampire, maybe Riley walks in on something else between them when he goes into the rec center—-but I’m also interested in exploring their connection and dynamic. What does the Angel want from Pruitt? Is he fond of him in his own way? He got all dressed up for him, and Pruitt seems to have given him his clothes! What’s their mental communication like? Why did he save him instead of letting an old man die? I’m so fascinated by them!
+ In general, I’m really interested in just getting deeper in Pruitt’s transformation. I’d love to read worldbuilding on what being a vampire is like for him—-he’s wearing hoodies now that he’s a young man, did he pick those out himself? What does it feel like to go from having dementia to being a fully sharp young man again? Did he realize some things he hadn’t before? I would also love to see who he is feeding on after he eats Joe Collie (Bev? Struge? Or maybe another character) or how he handles his hunger otherwise; more of new weird vampire stuff
+ There’s a lot of narrative focus on Riley and his relationship with Pruitt but I would love to see more of Erin’s relationship with Pruitt, given she grew up on Crockett as well, and she remained a believer. I’m especially interested in her relationship to Pruitt and religion given she said she was a godless heathen as a kid.
Riley
+ If you want to dive into more of Riley, I’m fascinated by OPOV of him, both as he returns home as the scandalized, disgraced prodigal son, or how people on the island felt when he left home. Were they proud of him for going away? Did they resent him like his father did for being above island living? What about once he arrives? Do people avoid him because he’s no longer a Christian? Does he get rumors spread about him, especially because of his jail time? I’d especially love to see more Riley bonding with the outsiders of the town, like Joe Collie or Sheriff Hassan.
+ I’d love to see a non-vampire AU (or just an AU where Riley doesn’t become a vampire) where Riley just tries to adjust to life after wrecking his life on the mainland and struggling to stay sober and leaning on people like Erin or perhaps Pruitt (if he’s still hovering around in some capacity) to help with his sobriety.
+ In general, I love stories about addiction and struggling through that, and I really vibed with what Riley said that what happened to him was ordinary, that it wasn’t some grand thing, just an ordinary unfortunately commonplace tragedy. I’d love to see him lose his faith after his accident, more about him exploring other religions and points of views, and more focus on his guilt and nightmares and sense of directionlessness. I am also really interested in Riley falling into a hard drinking lifestyle and not noticing or thinking it’s a big deal because party drinking is so normalized. I’m curious if that started on the island or once he left home.
+ Riley & Erin, or Riley/Erin backstory. I am very fascinated by them growing up on the island together, especially with Riley as the altar boy and Erin as the godless heathen. I’d love to see them fooling around as teenagers but also Riley being a safe space for Erin to run to in order to get away from her abusive mother. I really love childhood friends to lovers, but feel free to keep them platonic. Some of my favorite moments were them sleeping in bed together, her supporting him despite what he’s done, and Riley building her a crib for her baby. If you want, I would love a fic of Riley and Erin just preparing to have her baby.
+ Hassan & Riley, or Hassan/Riley. When Hassan introduced himself to Riley and Riley said he’s read the Quran, I thought for sure they’d eventually end up working together and then I was really sad they never interacted. I would really love to see more of Riley getting to know Hassan and being one of the few people on the island that doesn’t have a problem with him or can even meet him halfway with his religion. Maybe they could run into each other or coffee dates in the early morning or before AA, or they both end up on the ferry at the same time for one reason or another.
+ I would love the love story of Hassan/Riley, sneaking around together and having an on-off affair that they’re hiding because the scandal would be immense.
+ Hassan & Riley & Erin or Hassan/Riley/Erin. Feel free to keep Riley a vampire or let him remain human, both are interesting scenarios for me. I do love the thought of Erin and Hassan (and perhaps other people?) teaming up to help keep Riley fed so he doesn’t end up eating an innocent person. I love the thought of a trauma bonding threesome post canon, in the event they all survive, one way or another. Feel free to also turn Erin and Hassan into vampires as well, I love that trope.
Saw
Requested Characters: Jill Tuck, Lawrence Gordon
The reveal at the end of Saw 7 has always stuck with me! I always felt sad we were robbed of Jill and Lawrence interaction and I have a big soft spot for the two of them, so I guess I’m requesting what could have been for these two but I’d also be into solo gen about them as well. Jill Tuck is a personal favorite of mine and I’ve always been curious with Lawrence after the first Saw and how he gets from there to Saw 7.
+ Jill/Lawrence getting together. Maybe in a stable relationship, with them falling for each other, or a one night stand, or a friends with benefits situation.
+ I’ve always been really soft on John’s request to Lawrence that he avenge Jill and I would love to see him work to protect her more directly and proactively instead of reacting.
+ In general, I’d just love to see them interact and their perspective. They’re both doctors who presumably took a Do No Harm oath and yet get drawn in carrying out John’s plans anyway. I’d love for them to just get drunk and try to reconcile those aspects with each other and with themselves.
+ Instead of going to the police, Jill goes to Lawrence to hide out and for protection. This saves her life.
Jill succeeds in killing Hoffman. Jill becomes the new Jigsaw. I’d love to see Lawrence help her out during this the way he helped John but I would be just as happy with a solo Jill gen fic. Jill deserved to become the main villain.
+ Any kind of Jill lives AU would make me happy.
+ Anything bridging the gap between Saw 1 and Saw 7 for Gordon. I know we saw brief glimpses of John mentoring Lawrence, but I’d love to see more of that, how he came to sympathize with him, how he felt about Adam dying, the fall out between him and his wife later. Feel free to lean into the Stockholm and conditioning that may have undergone.
Spiral: From The Book of Saw
Characters Requested: William Schenk, Zeke Banks
These two ate my brain. There’s something so deliciously twisted and lovely about William being so obsessed with Zeke because he’s the only person who looked out for him and sought justice for his father...then getting Zeke’s father killed himself. The layers of obsessiveness and fixation on Zeke is fascinating and I would just love to dig into it more. I ship them very much but I think a lot of these prompts can be taken in a gen direction, as long as it’s focused on the two of them, I’ll be happy with what you write :)
+ Post canon fic. Zeke hunting William down to get revenge (or justice) for his dead father. Zeke getting darker and maybe not living up to William’s ideals of him, or perhaps just playing into his hands. William hoped Zeke would blame the cops and not him for his death, but that’s okay; he can make Zeke see his point of view.
+ Or perhaps Zeke can’t even be mad at William for his father’s death because of all the horrible things he’s learned about him since.
+ I would love to see more of William trying to make Zeke see things his way, especially if he kidnaps him and doesn’t let him go until he understands. Feel free to lean into stockholm or attempted stockholm syndrome places.
+ Zeke tracks William down, but he can’t turn him in. He can’t make himself kill him either, even when he has him at gunpoint, even when William smiles at him like a little shit.
+ Zeke receiving little gifts, presents, or even tips from William, who is supposed to be on the run or in hiding. William calling Zeke, just to check on him, or say hi, and Zeke not able to turn him down completely, even if he acts angry.
+ William’s POV as he obsessively researches and stalks Zeke. William orphaning Zeke so they can be more alike. William trying to mold Zeke into his perfect partner in crime. Or perhaps, post canon, when Zeke finds William again, he’s ready to help him with his work instead. Them as partners in crime. Them being serial killers.
+ AU where William enacts his plan much sooner and decides to make contact with Zeke when he’s an underage kid or a trainee on the police force. I love the potential for age gap and inappropriateness here, with William just being very eager and acting like he wants to please Zeke and Zeke underestimating him because of his age. I'd love Zeke feeling guilty but also loving how much affection he gets from William and the way he looks at him with such wide-eyed hero worship. If he’s actually an underage kid seeking out his hero worship crush, I’d prefer for William to still be secretly very murderous, even if he’s clumsy or not sure how to go about it—I’d still like there to be that edge of darkness. Maybe he lies to Zeke about his age so Zeke will at least give him the time of day and not reject him out of hand for being a kid.

+ I would love to see how William came to learn about building Saw traps and how to be a serial killer. It’d be really neat if he mentored with Logan from Jigsaw or Lawrence from the earlier Saw films.
