Dear Yuletide 2017 writer,

Thank you so much for writing for me! I’ve been doing Yuletide since 2010 (give or take a skipped year or two) and every time I do it, I’m always so excited at all the possibilities of what you could write for me! I write long letters and I babble a lot but I like A LOT OF THINGS so please don’t worry too much--this letter is mainly a guideline, and prompts to spark your imagination and creativity. I generally love a lot of prompts, they help me write, so I try to include as much as I can for my potential writer--but if you have another idea that you want to write, that you think I’ll like, go for it! Just don’t hit my DNWs, and I’ll probably love what you write me :D

If you’re wondering why my journal is so bare, it’s because I’m mainly on tumblr, where you can usually find me reblogging stuff to procrastinate, as well as get a general sense of what I’m into. I’ve also mostly used LJ in the past, though I am trying to use my DW more now.

L I K E S

+ I am a multishipper at heart. I love slash, femslash, het, poly, threesomes, moresomes! I love porn, I encourage all the porn you wanna write, but I don’t need it in my fic--I love ships for the characters and the character dynamics and interactions, so I’d adore gen about my faves as well, be it character studies or two (or more) people interacting, bouncing off each other and/or clashing.

+ Backstory fic, missing scenes, future fic, snapshots and vignettes. I love pre-series/pre-canon fic and post canon “what now?” fic.

+ I love fic about how people met and came together, be it slowly falling in love or casual sex or hate sex that grows into something more. If you write me shipfic, I don’t need romance, exactly. I love romance but I also love deep, important connections that are meaningful and not entirely platonic.

+ Codependency. Dysfunctional people who love each other. Dysfunctional people who are trying to love one another and failing at it. People doing awful things for the other. “Us against the world” dynamics. Honestly, TERRIBLE MORALLY BANKRUPT PEOPLE WHO LOVE EACH OTHER is one of my hardline narrative kinks.

+ Happy endings, bittersweet endings, downer endings. I’m pretty happy with all of them, as long as it works for the story. I don’t want to read a happy domestic fic with sudden swerve into death and despair, but if something is generally melancholy to begin with, go ahead with the downer ending. Write the ending that’s right.

+ Hurt/comfort--oh, gosh do I love hurt/comfort. Whether one character is sick and the other is taking care of them and nursing them back to health, to more serious injuries or assisting with a drug recovery, to helping each other cope with PTSD or loss. People taking care of someone in practical ways to show love, especially when they can’t express it with words.

+ Characters who aren’t sure how to “people” properly. Characters who aren’t good at being “human.” Monstrous people and actual non humans. People doing monstrous things and monsters trying to be better. Monsters <3

+ I love horror stories! Not all my prompts and canons lend themselves to that but if a canon does have horror elements, feel free to go full dark, no stars. I love body horror, eldritch abominations, haunted houses, restless spirits, people turning into monsters, cannibalism, undead people (vampires and revenants mainly; I do not care for brainless zombies).

+ Travel and roadtrip stories, a strong sense of place.

+ Slow burns. UST. I will read thousands and thousands of words of people just getting together. Or thousands and thousands of words of people reconnecting again. Getting back together. Learning to love each other again. Just long, slow burn of two people coming together, either for the first time or again.

+ “What if” AUs, “turn left" AU, “what if that terrible thing never happened?” AU. “What if that terrible thing did happen” AUs? Canon divergence AUs.

+ Characters coping well, or coping badly, with trauma. Exploration of trauma.

+ Epistolary fic or playing around with format. Five times fic. Unreliable narrators. Second person point of view (I’m not so much asking you to write me second person fic but if you feel the urge to do so for whatever reason, go ahead).

+ Claustrophobic and isolation stories, be it physical or emotional isolation. Trap people in a room together, or in a house, or an elevator. Fake married. Fake dating. Fake dating for GREAT JUSTICE. Forced to share a bed together. Huddling for warmth. ALL the banter. Reluctantly working together. Reluctant friends. Found families. Awkward wooing. Awkward first times. Fumbling first times, both sexual first times, or any other first time. Pining for each other.

Porn/kink specific likes: Physicality. Exploration of sexuality. Hands, grabbing on tight, nails digging in. Blood, bloodkink, bloodplay (go wild with vampire characters honestly), any kind of biting. Guns and gun kink. Knife play. Rough sex, public sex, wall sex. Sex in weird places. DNWS:

+ I don’t like setting AUs, like coffeeshop AU or college AUs. I have nothing really against them, I’d read them in other circumstances, but I prefer to read about characters in the canon setting for this exchange.

+ The same is true for crossovers or fusions. Again, I’m not really against them, I’ll read them in other situations, but for this exchange, I want to focus on the canon settings.

+ I prefer not to read about abuse but I understand it’s inclusion if it’s part of a character’s backstory. I like reading about the aftereffects of abuse, of trauma, both recovery and just how that abuse/trauma affects the individual; I just don’t want to read about the actual traumatic events in gritty detail.

+ No deathfic unless the characters die or have died in canon, or a villain is being killed. I’m okay with it in terms of, for example, either Faith or Nerissa being dead as just a function of the story, but I don’t want anyone currently still alive in canon to die at the end. I don’t consider it deathfic if someone dies and then comes back in the same fic. If they come back wrong, I’ll probably love it.

+ Miscommunication as a plot point. Torture or anything further than canon typical violence. Cheating/infidelity. Dubcon. Underage sexual content under the age of 15 (between underage people--I rather not read about adult/teenagers at all though).

My squicks are: parental or cross-gen incest (sibling or cousin incest is totally okay), bestiality, a/b/o, watersports, scat, humiliation (sexual, situational, or otherwise--I get horrible second hand embarrassment).

+ Non-con is a trigger for me, so I’d rather avoid it unless it’s part of a character’s backstory in canon already. If there’s a single DNW I can’t deal with at all, it’s this one.

R E Q U E S T S


The Accountant (2016)
Characters: Christian Wolff, Braxton (The Accountant)

I desperately want their reunion with Christian catching up with Braxton after the movie--either the initial meeting where Christian goes to find him, or Braxton slotting himself in Christian's life again and how they readjust to each other, or more meets up in the future. I also want backstory fic, sparring together and learning to work as a team as kids, or Braxton being violently defensive of Christian when they're children and teenagers. I want "us against the world" fic when they were younger, and then how that changes, shifts, falls apart as they get older.

I ship them hard and if you wanna write me first time incest, backstory incest, post movie incest, I would LOVE that but it's not necessary--just give me messy, complicated brothers.

I knew I would like this movie, but when they revealed Braxton was Christian’s brother, it became one of my faves. They took my favorite kind of action tropes and threw in brother angst and drama straight from my id. Braxton’s face as he realizes the accountant killing off his men is HIS BROTHER just about kills me, and the way he stops trying to serve his client and just focuses on his brother from then on out is one of my favorite parts.

I, along with several others, requested this for rare male slash and...absolutely no one wrote it. No one. So I still have a hankering for this, though I know incest isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, so you absolutely do not have to write me explicit incest. I love messy, ugly, and/or just plain complicated relationships between brothers, and as long as you write me Christian and Braxton interacting in some form, I’ll be happy.

PROMPTS:

Post movie fic--I always felt so cheated that we never got to see Braxton and Christian meet up again. I wanted to see Christian at least find Braxton waiting in some coffeeshop that he tracked him down to, or fic about them reestablishing their bond and relationship. Do they start working together? Do they conflict and fight over their methods? Do their morals line up? Or maybe just fic with Christian having to crash and stay with Braxton for a while, and them getting used to each other and being in each other’s lives again. I’d be interested in both gen and ship fic for this.

Pre-series fic--in terms of shippiness, I see the incest as something that developed when they were young, so anything exploring that development of that would be awesome--how old were they when they started developing feelings for one another, who initiated it, how did it develop? Did any of them feel guilty or shame for it, or did they not care? Did they call it off at some point, was it something they outgrew or labeled as “teenagers experimenting”? (I’m okay with the exploration of slightly creepy, us against the world teenage sexuality but I prefer for them both to be at least fifteen or older and close in age if you go that route).

Honestly, anything exploring the claustrophobic, isolated way they grew up under their father and how that fueled their relationship would be awesome.

I'm fascinated by them being trained to fight for each other, with Braxton running to back up his brother in fights with bullies at his father’s behest. I’d love to see more of that, Braxton defending and being protective of his brother, even though Christian learns to take care of himself. I’d love stuff with young or teen Braxton helping Christian with his autism, either speaking for him when he needs help, helping him verbalize feelings he struggles with, helping with his routines or violently defending him from others.

Christian implies that he's always known where Braxton was but stayed away for his safety. I'd love to see him stalking keeping tabs on his brother throughout the years and how far that goes. I love to see more of the quiet but steadfast way Christian loves Braxton and how he thinks staying away is ultimately better for him.

Baby Driver (2017)
Characters: Buddy | Jason van Horn, Darling | Monica, Debora (Baby Driver), Bats | Leon Jefferson III

I love all these requested characters!!! All of them!!! I absolutely do not need all of them in the same fic and will be open to almost all combinations of these four. If you somehow wanna write a foursome between these four, be my guest!

1. Buddy/Darling backstory! Or an AU where Buddy/Darling live to Bonnie/Clyde another day!

2. Bats backstory! Where the fuck did he come from??? What is with that speech he gives before a job? I love it and I love him, he's so dramatic and trigger happy but also a lot smarter than anyone gives him credit for. I would love to read more about him, his pov, and I'm totally open to Buddy/Darling/Bats, whether it's threesomes before a job for good luck or antagonistic rough sex.

3. AU where Debora, not Baby, is the tititual "Baby Driver." I would love Darling/Debora or Buddy/Darling/Debora for this.

You absolutely do not have to include all four characters in my gift, though that would be fun! But I would be happy with just one of them in a gift or two or three, whichever works for you! I do want to say that I’m not fond of Baby/Debora so feel free to ignore that ship or not include it or break them up, whatever works for you.

PROMPTS:

Darling and Buddy were so fucking delightful, I love these Bonnie/Clyde assholes. I left the theater wanting some kind of prequel about them. How did they meet? How did they get together? What’s interesting to me, is that if we accept Bat’s assessment that Buddy was a white collar criminal prior and then became a straight up bank robber after meeting Darling, then arguably it was Darling who taught Buddy how to be a criminal like her, so I’d love to read something with her showing him the ropes, teaching him how to shoot a gun and how to get away from the cops. I DNW infidelity so I’d prefer if he wasn’t married when he meets Darling, like Bats suggested he was, perhaps divorced or already separated.

Or if you don’t want to write the backstory, I’d love to just read about some of their many capers. “Case fic” if you will, except the case is robbing banks or making back alley deals for guns or knocking off jewelry stores. Be as criminally glamorous or unglamorous as you want--I love both their aesthetic of gorgeous criminal bank robbers who shoot in tandem but also the uglier, seedier stuff underneath it.

I love the moment where Darling says, “it was so romantic when you stabbed that guy for me” and Buddy was just WHICH GUY? Because there have been multiple stabbing incidents in the name of Darling. I WOULD LOVE MORE OF THAT. Darling asking for and pushing for and demanding these violent displays of affection, and Buddy all too happy to give it to her.

I would totally love to read porn of them roleplaying bank robber and hostage, like Darling suggested. Go as kinky as you want, as long as it doesn’t hit my DNWs, but I would especially appreciate gunplay, knife play, or breathplay with this in addition to roleplaying, and above all I have a strong trust kink when it comes to these two.

Darling and Buddy live! Maybe they both manage to get away from the cops! And they are now fugitives! WHO HAVE TO GO TO MEXICO. OR CANADA! I’d love to read about their life on the lam, disguising each other, trying to support their drug habit while also evading the cops, hiding out in seedy hotels, and trying to carve out a little slice of paradise for themselves under the weight of it all. Yes this is a roundabout way of asking for roadtrip-esque fic, but now with bonus running from the cops.

Or maybe just Darling lives! Maybe Buddy dies in the shoot-out and Darling survives. What happens next? Does she take revenge on Baby or does she handle it a bit better? Honestly, Darling is probably my absolute fave of this movie, so I would love anything that focuses on her, whether it’s backstory fic, post canon AU where she lives, or character study, or just something about her beating people up, shooting people and stealing shit :D

I ship Darling/Debora embarrassingly a lot for two characters that never met, so I am just gonna copy/paste and expand on some of my Darling/Debora prompts from femslash exchange: in the same vein of my previous prompt, I’d love an AU where it’s Buddy who dies instead, and Darling goes after Debora, presumably to kill her, but then decides not to because she’s so pretty because she decides she likes Debora and/or overidentifies with her (given the parallels between Darling/Buddy and Debora/Baby throughout the movie). You decide where that goes.

I’d also love something darker, an AU where everyone else dies in the shootout and Darling and Debora end up running off together--I would really love to see Darling takes Debora under her criminal wing, with both of them sad and angry and hardened over the loss of their significant others, drawing them together.

Alternatively, I’d love an AU of the movie where Debora is the titular Baby Driver! She mentions taking care of her mom who died recently, so perhaps in this AU young Debora turns to crime to support her mom’s hospital bills. To be honest she doesn’t even have to be a “driver” technically--it’d be cool if she had another type of criminal expertise, like safe cracking or forgery. For this AU, I would be really happy with gen and exploring how Debora fits into that life and what changes when she’s a part of the team. I would also love Buddy/Darling/Debora or Darling/Debora for this aswell. If you’re not into the threesome route or want to just write Darling/Debora, I really hardcore ship Buddy/Darling, so I prefer no infidelity or breaking them up--maybe they have an open relationship.

I have no idea how Bats/Debora would work, but if you wanna figure it out and write that, be my guest, I like them both so much and I think it could be fun.

Sometimes all I want is to head west on 20 in a car I can’t afford, with a plan I don’t have, just me my music and the road. - I want Debora’s roadtrip story. Maybe an AU where she does decide to take that all on her own, or maybe something set after Baby goes to jail.

I really want Bats backstory! I really want to know everything about Bats! I love the way he just assesses Darling and Buddy so well, I love his speeches before every heist to pump his team up, I love how trigger happy he is, I love how he self identifies as the “crazy one” and want to explore that more, the layers of performance. Tell me everything about Bats, show me other heists he’s been on. Or alternatively, give me an AU where he lives! Give me Bats on the run, or give me Bats ending up fugitives with Buddy and Darling.

I would love Darling/Buddy/Bats, anyway you can give it to me--them all working together for other heists, fighting and bickering turning into something else, Buddy and Bats bonding and working together; one of my favorite parts of the movie was everyone forced to bunk together the night of the heist. I’d love something that explores the uncomfortable intimacy and closeness of that regarding Buddy/Darling/Bats, like Bats walks in on an intimate moment, or maybe they’re stuck together even longer than one night.

Buzzfeed Unsolved (Web Series)
Characters: Shane Madej, Ryan Bergara

This show is oddly my happy place, even though a lot of the content is horrifying. I would love case fic here, with Shane and Ryan tackling something new we haven't seen before. I ship them a lot and I would love to read some slow burn, falling in love spanning multiple cases they've done, and/or just focusing on the ins and outs of traveling all over for haunted places and former crime scenes, life behind the camera and in between filming.

I'm not generally into whole setting AUs (so don't write me something like a coffeeshop AU), but I think it'd be really fun if Shane secretly turned out to be some kind of magical creature (maybe he's a werewolf? A vampire? Something else entirely?) and Ryan finds out. Or you could go full horror story and have Shane and Ryan tangle with an actual ghost or demon that fucks with them, follows them home, or something genuinely horrifying.

Oh man I feel a little awkward requesting this, not so much because it’s RPF in a way but because Shane and Ryan are so...accessible, that I just hope they never see my shippy requests or ever google themselves haha. Rest assured, I dearly love this little web series and I’m always super pumped for an episode--partly because supernatural going-ons and true crime are my main interests and partly because Shane and Ryan are so charming together.

PROMPTS:

I really want slow burn romance, spread across multiple cases and multiple places they go to and multiple episodes. I want Shane and/or Ryan slowly realizing they’re kinda in love with this fool over months or years (they’ve been doing this show for a while). I love pining and while I hate the “person unrequitedly pines for the other” trope, I LOVE two people pining for each other, thinking it’s unrequited. I want bed sharing and waking up curled up together, or stealing each other’s food at a roadside diner while on the way to Willow Creek or some other creepy location. I want Ryan freaking out at haunted houses or asylums while Shane mocks him and ribs him and antagonizes the ghosts. I want more bath sharing! I want more spending the night together in sleeping bags!

If you don’t want to write shippy fic, that’s totally fine but I still would love something focused on the intimacy of constantly working together, sleeping together, traveling together, and everything they have to do together for this show, what goes in between filming, the sheer amount of hours they must spend together as they drive (or fly?) all over the country.

Ryan tells Shane ghost stories! Ever since that joke/line in one of the more recent episodes (which I cannot remember which one it was right off the top of my head, maybe the Keddie Cabin Murders one) about how Ryan telling people ghost stories as a seduction tactic (and Ryan denying it), I’ve been wanting something like that--either Ryan slowly trying to court Shane by telling him ghost stories or just them sitting around a campfire, or a flashlight, trying to freak out each other out and succeeding, or both of them lying in bed while sleeping at a haunted location and Ryan telling Shane spooky stories to pass the time.

I would really love a full blown AU where Shane is some kind of werewolf, vampire, fae creature, or just some kind of monster/supernatural creature and that’s why he’s constantly extra skeptical of ghosts and demons but totally is up for aliens and cryptids. I would love Ryan finding out and uncovering it himself with evidence he’s collected! Or Ryan accidentally finds out when he catches Shane doing something weird. Go as creative and wild as you like! I would love shippy or gen for this.

I also would love something that focuses much more strongly on the horror and creepy aspects of the show. I’d love to read Shane and Ryan encounter some eldritch abomination that truly messes with them, or maybe Shane’s constant pestering and egging demons on actually has negative consequences. Maybe Shane and Ryan get haunted by a demon that follows them back to Buzzfeed Headquarters. Feel free to incorporate any urban legend or haunted place you want--from Winchester Mystery House to The Bunnyman Bridge or include cryptids like the Jersey Devil or the Chupacabra. I don’t want noncon or dubcon, but otherwise consider this carte blanche to tell the horror story you always wanted with them.

The only main thing I ask is that you don’t focus on the true crime aspects of the show--I love those episodes, I love true crime but I feel uncomfortable incorporating them in a gift fic. Less unsolved Keddie cabin murders and more haunted Queen Mary stuff or staying the night in haunted asylums for my gift fic, please.



Castlevania (Cartoon)
Characters: Alucard, Sypha Belnades, Trevor Belmont

I want so much! Give me OT3 fic with them fighting monsters or slow burn coming together fic, or Alucard/Trevor fic where they're learning to get along or constantly fighting, or tropey as hell fic where Alucard has to feed on one of them (or both of them!) to survive, or Sypha fic with her coming to terms with Alucard being her vampire Jesus. See my letter for more details!

I mainlined this during late summer--which is really, not hard, given how short the episodes are--but it’s filled to the brim with some of my favorite things: evil churches, long suffering hunters getting beaten up, faithful believers, sexy shirtless woobie vampires, people who dislike each other working together, weird prophecies, and horrifying monsters. WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE.

PROMPTS:

Even though they just met, I OT3 them hard already. I would love threesome fic in any way--not even necessarily porn (though I would not say no to yuleporn), but sort of slow burn coming together? I’m fascinated by them all sort of being prophesied to fight Dracula together and how that impacts their relationship and the further development of it. I’d love to see them slowly becoming comrades and truly become friends and then that growing into something more.

I love tropey things! Forced bedsharing! Pretending to be married (or a couple)! Undercover shenanigans! I’m not a fan of sex pollen or fuck or die exactly but I’d love to read something with Sypha or Alucard discovering they need to do some kind of binding spell before fighting Dracula, which is sealed with some kind of sexy blood oath (or just sexy stuff in general). But I’d equally love something without a magical justification--maybe some team bonding exercise that leads to sex, or all three of them get trapped in a room or locked up somewhere and need to pass the time.

If you don’t ship them, I would love some kind of gen adventure roadtrip-esque story, with them traveling the countryside, fighting monsters, getting into bar fights, sniping at each other, all three of them having to cram into one bed, etc--the awkward and uncomfortable moments as well as the fun stuff. What are the logistics of traveling together? I love travel stories!

Backstory fic for Alucard. What was growing up with Dracula as your dad like? With Lisa as his mom? How does being a half human half vampire spawn WORK? I subscribe to the theory that Lisa was calling out to Alucard to have some sympathy for the humans as she was dying, so I’d be interested in reading something that takes that into account or something focusing on Alucard’s point of view of that. I know Lisa’s not nominated, so feel free to ignore this prompt but I would really love to read something focusing on Alucard’s bond with his mother and what that relationship was like.

I really dig opposites attract, and while I don’t see Trevor and Alucard as total opposites (I think they’re a lot alike), I’d love to read something, gen or shippy, with Alucard and Trevor getting used to each other, especially with Trevor learning to like Alucard and start to bond. Maybe Alucard helps him in a bar fight or maybe they can relate to each other with all their family issues. I ship them a lot as well but I’d be happy with gen of them growing closer together.

I’d also love something super tropey with Alucard and Trevor getting trapped somewhere and Alucard has to feed on Travis to survive, or he’s weak and needs his strength to get them out. For a more OT3-esque prompt, I think it’d be interesting if Sypha and Trevor had to take turns letting Alucard feed on him to prevent him from dying.

Sypha really interested me with the strength of her belief in a savoir coming to save them and yet how totally willing she was to roast Alucard if he killed Trevor. I’d love anything exploring her knowledge of the prophecy and how that affects her relationship with Trevor and Alucard, and/or focusing on the religious-bent to her interest in Alucard as the sleeping soldier and how that develops knowing he’s a vampire--she didn’t seem that bothered, exactly, imo, but I’d love to expand more on that, on her savior not being what she expected.

Any kind of creepy vampire porn. Vampires and bloodplay is A+++

I also don’t need every single character I requested in the story (i.e. if you write Alucard backstory, I don’t need Trevor and/or Sypha to make appearances, that sort of thing).

Note: I have never played the games, and I’m only familiar with the cartoon. You are welcome to include elements and plot points from the games in the fic if you want, as long as I don’t need to have played the games to understand.



From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series
Characters: Seth Gecko (FDTD TV), Richard Gecko (FDTD TV), Santanico Pandemonium (FDTD TV), Scott Fuller (FDTD TV)

I love all of these characters! I would love any combination of them, gen or shippy! I'd love post s3 fic where some time or years down the line, the Geckos meet up with Kisa again, maybe to help her with new queenly duties, maybe they accidentally run into each other, or maybe they just miss her. Oh man, talk about the fandom of my heart. I am in FDTD fandom for the rest of year as well and I honestly never get tired of this show at all. It was so hard to narrow down my requests to just four characters, because I honestly looooove all the main characters and there so many different stories I want in this fandom. Once again, you absolutely do not have to include all four of my requested characters in my gift fic.

(BTW I keep referring to Santanico as Kisa even though she’s nominated as Santanico because I tend to call her by the name she’s currently identifying by in S3 and Kisa’s arc in reclaiming that is really important to me; I prefer post S3 fics include her still referring to herself as Kisa, however, if you’re writing something set before S3 or an AU where events goes differently, I’m totally cool with her still being called and calling herself Santanico)

PROMPTS:

I ship every permutation of Seth/Richie/Santanico and I really OT3 them hard. You could write me anything where the OT3 gets together in some capacity and I’ll be over the moon--from a slow burn over the ages or they all decide to have sex to bond or the three of them fighting culebras and other demons together, it’s all good. My main OT3 desire is a post s3 fic where they meet again down the line some years later, and end up back in each other’s lives. Maybe Richie decides to help Kisa rebuild culebra society and Seth tags along, maybe Richie’s turned Seth into a culebra and wants Kisa’s help, maybe they just accidentally run into each other and get a drink together to catch up.

Seth/Kisa’s relationship development is a thing of beauty. I love how they went from enemies to saving each other’s lives and being genuinely concerned about the well-being of the other! I would honestly be happy with just more interactions with them, any fic about them being friends and bonding would be wonderful--but I also ship them a whole lot and would love something regarding that tension there. Maybe expand on the scene where he lets her feed on him (the camera just cut away! I wanted to see it up close and personal!) and how it feels now that Kisa has ~tasted~ Seth’s soul. Or anything that explores Seth acting like he doesn’t care about her but he totally does care.

Richie/Santanico fic that fills in the gap between season one and season two. There’s just so much to explore there! I’d love to see something tackle Richie’s issues with Santanico, because he very much did not want to go to Mexico at first--does he resent her for making him kill Monica? For invading his mind? Does he get over that? I’d love to see her teaching him how to be a vampire while he teaches her how to be a human in the modern day. I’d love to see more of Richie having no idea how an actual romantic relationship works and pulling tricks he’s learned from movies and media and falling short. And I’d also love ridiculous silly things like Richie taking her clothes shopping (it must have happened at some point..unless they stole their clothes) or how they find their warehouse they live in and whoever decorated it and why was there so many lit candles during the sex scene? SO MANY QUESTIONS.

Season three AU where Richie gets stuck in Xibalba and Seth and Kisa resolve to go after him and get him out. P l e a s e.

I have always wanted a season one AU where Seth does actually go with Richie and Santanico, where Richie actually agrees to Santanico’s “well he can come with us then” offer. Or maybe Seth INSISTS on going, despite Richie’s wishes. I want Seth being jealous of the Richie/Santanico relationship and wanting to insert himself in the middle, and Santanico trying to win Seth over because she can win Richie over to her side the more she gets Seth to like her, and Richie trying to cope with the force of natures they both are--play with the weird complicate mess between all three of them.

I would also love an AU where Seth is the one that starts hearing Santanico in his head and having visions. I’d love a Seth/Santanico, Seth/Richie and/or Seth/Richie/Santanico interpretation of this prompt.

I ship Geckocest hardcore, so honestly I would love anything that features them in a shippy way. You could write about them bickering at Big Kahuna and I’ll smile. I love it all for them--angst, fluff, fighting, fucking, case fic (or in this case, bank robbing fic), fic about Seth’s drug addiction, fic about Richie’s culebraness, just as long it’s about them and their bond and Seth’s obsessive need and love for Richie that overrides his rationality and Richie’s own quiet way of loving his brother.

That isn’t to say I wouldn’t enjoy gen fic about their bond too--I love them in canon, I love how scared Seth gets all the time when Richie is in trouble, I love how clingy he gets. Same rules as my accountant brothers prompts goes--as long as their relationship is twisty and codependent and messy as it is in canon, I’ll be happy.

I also I want fic that explores their clear cut issues after season 2--Seth had to threatened to burn Richie in the sun to allow him to stay with him! I think it’d still take a while before they’re even back on the same page and given the time skip between s2 and s3, I think there’s a lot left on the table. I want slow burn fic about Seth and Richie getting used to each other again, and the changes in one another, and Seth having to get used to, tolerate and accept the culebra parts of his new life, including Richie.

I got a really glorious Seth/Richie fic for rareslash that involved culebra Seth and honestly, that was my crack and I want more of it. Give me culebra Seth making life HELL for Richie. Give me culebra Seth either struggling with being a culebra given his resistance to culebras in general, or taking it to it shockingly well. Give me culebra Geckos WRECKING shit. Give me culebra Geckos living forever, robbing banks, going for increasingly bigger and badder scores, and redefining what it means to be legends and going to El Rey.

I was always sad that Santanico and Scott never got to have any interactions with each other, given that Santanico is Scott’s vampire grandma! I’d love anything that just lets them TALK TO EACH OTHER. A missing scene moment where they exchange words in the finale, canon divergent AUs where she catches him snooping in the Twister and thus, Scott never gets to report back to Carlos (maybe she gets Scott to work for her instead; maybe she takes him with her when they leave the twister!), maybe bonding over both of them having their true names stolen from them, maybe just bonding over what a shit Carlos is (note: I love Carlos).

I like the thought of Scott sticking with Kisa at the end of S3. I’d love an AU where he follows her as she rebuilds culebra society, not quite sure what to do himself now that he’s broken off from his band and his sister has rejected him. I love the thought of them finding a new family in each other.

Post s2 fic--where does Scott go? What does he do? How does he work through his issues and rebuild his life after? What did he do when he couldn’t find his sister’s body to bury? I’d love a fic of Scott just walking the earth and trying to figure out who he is now in the wake of everything.

FANGLORIOUS FIC. Scott and his vigilante vampire christian rock band! IT’S LIKE CATNIP TO ME. I want so much more fic about Scott and his rock band. I love Scott going from an angry, violent kid in season one to this magnetic, smooth talking, bloodletting rock star preacher--anything focusing on that transformation would be awesome. How did he form his band? Did he turn everyone in it into culebras? Because I would be all over fic about Scott finding lost souls to recruit for his rock band. But I would also just love to read a day in the life of them, or fic about them ‘hunting’ and avenging other people or picking out murderers and rapists to eat specifically. I ship Scott with all of his bandmates in an OT4 orgy thing, so if you wanna go there, feel free!

I’d love a missing scene about Scott vs his bullies from season 2. I don’t necessarily want gore fic exactly but I’d love to read more about the aftermath of his killing spree, before he goes to find Carlos--does he ever feel guilty and question himself, like he did after eating Jessica? Or does he fully own what he did with no remorse? In general I love the aesthetic of undead Scott coming back to the small town full of bullies that he hates, his whole family gone, and just fucking it up. Maybe he takes longer in his revenge than just one night. Tell me a horror story (and feel free to include Kate because I love Scott&Kate so so much).

Scott succeeds in turning Kate, either mid S2 or in the S2 finale. What happens after? Is she angry at him? Does she forgive him? What kind of strain does it put on their relationship? I know Kate isn’t one of my requested characters, but Kate is such an important part of Scott that I can’t imagine not including this prompt. Any direction you wanna take that would be gold.

I have such weird complicated feelings about Scott/Seth, Scott/Richie and Scott/Seth/Richie. I love their reactions to each other, the way Scott and Richie have become almost friends, the way Scott and Seth got along in season one and how Seth seems to “get” Scott when others don’t; I love the dynamics between the three of them and I’d love to see a lot more of them--missing scenes between Scott and Richie in season three, them getting high together, AUs where Scott goes with Seth instead (either human Scott or culebra Scott or even Scott tagging along with Kate), Seth and Richie trying to comfort Scott over the loss of Kate in season two. If you go the shippy route, I’d prefer it be several years down the line since Scott being a teenager kind of squicks me, but I would be all over and into Scott constantly running into Geckos several decades later or just constantly throughout his life, angry that they're always around one way or another, and developing a crush and attraction to one of them (or both of them). Or maybe he’s always had a crush on them? Go for it.

Where does Kisa go in between 3x02 and 3x08? Show me her mourning period after Manola. Show me her wandering the earth in pain after losing her fight club. Show me her coming to realize she’s going to need Carlos and how she reaches that conclusion. Show me realizing she wants to fight for the culebras as well. Show me Kisa’s journey, what we didn’t get in canon.

I would honestly just love post s2 fic, of her forming her fight club, of her deciding she no longer wants to be called Santanico at all, ever, of her gathering these followers for her fight club, both human and culebra. If you wanna include Manola and how she became a part of that, that would be awesome as well.

I could go on but I am going to stop myself. I do wanna request if you go for a post s3 fic, I’d prefer an AU where Kate doesn’t go with the Geckos, though I am happy to read about Kate being their criminal protege; I just DNW Kate/geckos in a shippy capacity.

I requested both Faith and Nerissa because generally, I'm not sure if Nerissa is really Nerissa at the end there (and was disguising herself as Faith in the opening), or Faith. I tend to fall along the lines that the "Nerissa" walking away at the end is actually "Faith" from the beginning in disguise, but I don't need you to stick to that interpretation for fic purposes--I also love the thought of Nerissa surviving and living as well. My main prompt is post canon fic--where does "Nerissa" go from there? I want to see her surviving and thriving.

I ship both Bigby/Nerissa and Bigby/Faith--I love the long suffering PI with a soft spot for a dame in distress vibes he had with both of them. I would love something where he does manage to catch up to Nerissa at the end, or runs into her in the future, especially if you go with "Faith in disguise" interpretation. I would love fic about Nerissa and Faith working at Georgie's club as well--either the build up to their plan to escape together, or how they coped with the forced prostitution together, or something shippy between them. Feel free to throw in Holly as well!

(I also love Bigby/Snow a lot but for this exchange, I don't want my fic to center around that ship beyond some unspoken pining in the background)

I love this game! I’ve played it at least twice now and watched several let’s plays of it already and I never really get tired of the world. It’s this beautiful mish mash of grimey noir and twisted fairy tales, which is just my aesthetic. Feel free to include other characters as well, I love anything that sort of fills out the world and rounds it out. I’ve never read the Fables comics though, so while you're welcome to work in elements and backstory from the comics, I rather the story focus on the world of the game, rather than the comic books. Keep the 80s setting, if you can.

PROMPTS:

Bigby catches up to Nerissa walking away at the end. Where do they go from there? Does he discover Nerissa was impersonating Faith at the beginning of the story, or that Nerissa is actually Faith in disguise? I always like that he just lets her be but I still feel really unresolved about this and I would love to read an AU where this happens.

Nerissa walks away and starts a new life. Or alternatively, Faith in disguise as Nerissa escapes, and finds a new life somewhere else. I’d love to see her living as a “Mundie.” But really, I just..want them to be free and happy, honestly. Either of them. Both of them.

I always love the chilling line about Nerissa paying a heavy price for her legs. I’d love to read more about that. Feel free to work in as many fairy tale elements as you want, or come up with something new entirely. I’m particular interested in the idea that it feels like walking on broken glass, which, yikes, that’s some nightmare fuel but I love my fairy tales twisted and creepy.

I loved every moment with Bigby/Nerissa and Bigby/Faith--him lighting her cigarette, him doing his best to help her out, him giving Nerissa all the money he had. I would love an AU where maybe Faith knows Bigby before everything happens, and they have some kind of flirtation going on. It’s up to you if it goes anywhere or not.

I don’t want to read about the abuse both Faith and Nerissa must have endured working for Georgie but I would love to read about them coping with surviving that environment and their desperate attempts to get out. Was it the first time they tried to leave? How did they plot this together? How long? How scary must it have been going behind Georgie’s (and by extension, the Crooked Man’s) back? I love Lily as well and while she’s not nominated, I would love her to be included, I’m curious about what this dynamic between the three of them was like.

I would love Nerissa/Faith. Them turning to each other for comfort after working at the club together, as a friends with benefits things spread out over the years, a one time thing where they fell into bed together, or maybe something more? Any way you can make it work. Ignore my infidelity squick for this.

If you don’t want to write about either Faith or Nerissa, I really love Bigby so much. One of my favorite parts of the game was the interplay with his animal nature and instincts, and his desire to be “better” and rise above his reputation. Not so much looking for redemption as trying to be more than that now, to suit his current role. In general, I love werewolves and while Bigby isn’t a werewolf, he hits a lot of my favorite werewolf-esque buttons, and I usually played him as barely holding back from ripping people to shreds, with a streak of honor, so I would love anything that explores his animal nature, his bad reputation, his lack of remorse, and how he’s trying so hard not to give into old bad habits. I always think of Snow’s line how they can’t just eat people’s hearts like they used to anymore, and I love to see Bigby walk that line.
