Dear Chocolatier 2018 writer,

Thank you so much for writing for me! I apologize for the length of this letter and the delay in getting it up--I underestimated how long it'd take me to write :O I’ve never done chocolatebox before, and I’m very excited. I am a multishipper at heart. I love slash, femslash, het, poly, threesomes, moresomes! + No deathfic unless the characters die or have died in canon, or a villain is being killed. I don’t consider it deathfic if someone dies and then comes back in the same fic. If they come back wrong, I’ll probably love it.

+ Miscommunication as a plot point. Torture or anything further than canon typical violence. Cheating/infidelity. Underage sexual content under the age of 15 (between underage people--I rather not read adult/teenagers at all though).

My squicks are: parental or cross-gen incest (sibling or cousin incest is totally okay), bestiality, a/b/o, watersports, scat, humiliation (sexual, situational, or otherwise--I get horrible second hand embarrassment).

+ Non-con is a trigger for me, so I’d rather avoid it unless it’s part of a character’s backstory in canon already. If there’s a single DNW I can’t deal with at all, it’s this one.

My main forever fandom :3333 I had such a hard time narrowing down these ships, I could easily happy with damn near every ship in the tag set. Please know that if I ramble out prompts for one ship more than the other, it’s not so much favoritism as just my imagination having limits. I want all of these ships, I would love fic for each and every single one.

This is the first time asking for art in any exchange, mainly because I desperately want any kind of FDTD art for this show. I am not quite sure how to prompt for this, but in terms of art likes, I enjoy: shadows, chirascuro, bright colors, negative space, dynamic poses or movement, anything with blood (bloody kisses, vampires feeding, etc), culebra monster faces, moments from the show, characters kissing or huddling for warmth, in bed together. I love porn and porny art, but I also love intimate, sensual moments that imply and suggest something porny than showing it directly.

Carlos Madrigal/Santanico Pandemonium/Seth Gecko/Richard Gecko:

I really want them together, all four of them, for this ship, even if it’s not exactly romantic--my main ships are Carlos/Kisa and Seth/Richie but I ship all the permutations in this foursome, so I’d like that to be reflected in my gift fic rather than Kisa having a harem or something

I’d love something set some time in the future--20 years from now, 50 years from now, 100 years from now--where all of them are sort of friends, friends with benefits, on and off together, constantly meeting up again, going for drinks (both in the literal sense but also feeding on people), maybe when Richie’s turned Seth into a culebra already. I love the thought of these four being forever intertwined in some way, unable to escape each other’s orbit for long, no matter how much they may annoy each other or get on each other’s nerves.

Post s3 AU where all four of them stick together, with Seth and Richie going off with Kisa to help her lead the culebras, and obviously Carlos is there too because he’d follow Kisa wherever she goes--I’d love to see them adjust to their new reality together and fall into some kind of intimate comfortable rhythm

An AU where Carlos never betrays Santanico in S1, and Seth gets dragged along on their defeat Malvado roadtrip--I love it when these four work together, and I’d love to see what sort of relationship grows from that.

Carlos/Kisa and Seth/Richie double dating in some way. It goes horribly wrong, someone gets into a fight, someone gets eaten, someone has to bury a body (that’s just a suggestion but I can’t imagine it goes well).

Foursomes; any kind of ill-advised foursomes. Maybe when Seth is catnip for all of them because he’s the warm soft human and they all want a piece of him. Mabe bodyworship porn with Santanico/Kisa in the center of it. Anything really, I’d die for porn.

Carlos Madrigal/Santanico Pandemonium:

Backstory! Any kind of backstory about their 500 years together! What happens right after Carlos is turned? I’d love to see the early days before their relationship got bitter, when Carlos was still very starry-eyed and a new culebra, and Kisa still believed in him.

Post canon fic; the two of them rebuilding their relationship, where do they go from here? What happens now? Him wanting to be her right again and earning her trust.

Anything with Carlos spreading her legend and building her up as la diosa across the countryside.

Them sneaking around behind Malvado’s back; or Malvado allowing it because he sees Carlos as Kisa’s slave.

I firmly believe she loves him but grew to distrust him because he couldn’t free her or do the labyrinth for her over the years; I’d love to see that conflict and struggle and the dissolution of their relationship over time and how much it pained her.

I was always so sad when he died so soon in canon. I’d love an AU where he lives, and he either goes on the road with Kate to find her brother; I’d love snapshots from that roadtrip or both them getting to know each other better, and Kate helping him out with feeding and protecting him from the sun, him helping her with her brother.

I’d love to see more of Kate luring in creepy men and then Rafa eating them, and Kate just not giving a damn or not seeing anything wrong with that; it was probably my fave moment in canon, I love Kate’s selective morality

I’d also love more of them doing crimes together

Anything exploring both of their perspectives on religion and how different yet alike it is at the same time; the clash between christianity and Rafa’s Kisa-based religion

Part of the reason Kate warned Jessica away from was because she was jealous and wanted Scott to herself, even in ways she doesn’t quite understand yet.

Kate comes back wrong fic--after season two, I really wanted AUs where Kate comes back as a kind of zombie or revenant, and Scott has to help her eat people to keep from deteriorating, but any type of “come back wrong to haunt her brother” type of story would be my jam.

Freddie never shows up in S2 to save Kate and Scott succeeds in turning her--what happens after? I’d love something exploring Kate’s anger and Scott’s neediness, but also the two of them needing each other to survive together despite that

Or Scott turns Kate to save her life in the s3 finale.

AU where they go off together after season three and work to rebuild their relationship and figure out who they both are now after having changed so much (but you know, with incest)

OH MAN I’ve been obsessed with the thought of all three of them in the same place together; its so sad Rafa didn’t live because the Rafa/Scott/Kate dynamic would have been amazing; if you just put all three of them same, I’d love to see it: Scott being stand-offish, Kate and Rafa flirting, Kate hiding more dead bodies, Rafa taking Scott under his wing, I’m all over it.

Roadtrip! With all of three of them! I don’t care about the destination or the reasons behind it, I just love all three of them traveling and fooling around behind each other’s backs before they realize they’re all kissing and making out with each other.

Rafa picking up on incest vibes between Scott/Kate, being intrigued, and/or inserting himself in that. Scott/Kate can be established, something that happened once, or unspoken but creepy incest vibes are THERE and Rafa can smell it

Kate becomes a vampire for whatever reason you want (Scott turns her, Rafa turns her, accidental turning, turning her to save her life), all three of them learn to live together like this, with Rafa as a guiding mentor (or instead, things get really messy and ugly and vicious, I don’t mind).

I really just love the “what if?” thought of Rafa mentoring Scott, with Scott rejecting his help and being stubborn about it, and Rafa trying to be patient.

I love scenarios like Scott needing to feed and Rafa helping him, as well as tropey scenarios with them being forced to share a bed, or pretending to be boyfriends.

Alternatively I’d really love an AU where Scott, after leaving the twister, runs into Rafa on his own, instead of Kate--maybe they end up in the same market in Mexico and Scott decides to stay near nicer culebras.

I would really love to read about Scott developing a crush on Rafa, in whatever AU situation, and how he handles that.

I really don’t care about age differences and underage issues between two culebras, so feel free to explore the age gap, the gap of experience, and the shadiness of Scott being a teenager and Rafa being....god knows how old, but don’t worry about hitting that particular DNW with them

Scott Fuller/Tommy:

Anything with how they met; Tommy says Scott saved his life, so I’d love to see any exploration of that

Scott turning Tommy--maybe he’s the first person he’s turned? Maybe they formed Fanglorious together?--and taking him under his wing, teaching him how to be a vampire, trying to be a better mentor than Carlos. I particularly love that Scott’s a teenager but Tommy seems older, yet Scott is the “parent” in this situation. Anything exploring that fucked up dynamic

ART PROMPTS: honestly if you offered to draw this ship in particular, I’m impressed, I’d love anything? Bed sharing, blood sharing, creepy vampire stuff, first time kisses, stolen moments, BAND STUFF, ANY KIND OF BAND STUFF.

Scott Fuller/Carlos Madrigal:
I love this creepy vampire mentorship; I’d love fic where they escape the twister together at the end of season one and go on the run together.

Or alternatively, anything with Carlos mentoring Scott, giving him scary life lessons, attacking him to make Scott attack back, showing him how to hunt or eat people (or just wanting to watch Scott eat people and praise his technique)--either set in an AU or set in canon like a missing scene

I love how creepy this ship is, with Carlos manipulating Scott and telling him how much better he is, and Scott just kind of eager and desperate for approval and for some place to belong--I’d love to read Carlos taking advantage of Scott’s need for belonging to seduce him on his side, or just plain seduce him.

Alternatively, I really want post s3 fic, where Carlos decides to tag along with Scott and Scott lets him because he’s all alone now again; I’d love a reversal of their dynamic, with Carlos at Scott’s mercy this time around, and Scott older and strong enough to not have to depend on him but still feels some longing for Carlos

Any missing scene in season three where they talk; anything to do with the aftermath of Carlos killing his sister and Scott killing him.

ART PROMPTS: Personal space invasion, stuck together, enclosed spaces, roadtrips, night scenes, violence and murder, sword to Carlos’ neck, inappropriate touching, snapshots from any of my prompts, and of course, feeding and bloodsharing.

Scott Fuller & Santanico Pandemonium:

I was so sad they didn’t talk in canon. I’d love ANYTHING for these two, just them interacting, bonding, getting to know each other, talking about how much they hate Carlos, anything! I don’t even necessarily need them or want them to get along, I just want them to size each other up and interact. I really love Scott and I really love Kisa and I would really love for them to stand in the same frame and acknowledge each other

I’d love a missing scene from canon--something set in the aftermath of the battle of 2x10, before Kisa takes off, or when they’re working together in S3, or even fic of that fight in 3x08 where Kisa basically trounces him.

I’d also love post s3 fic, where either Scott decides to go off with Kisa and help her with the culebras or where they meet up again down the line, and Scott’s lost and alone and not sure what to do with himself. Feel free to include Carlos!

Backstory! We know how they met but what more is there to it? I’d love to see a written scene from their meeting, Kisa defending Manola and Manola letting Kisa feed off her, but I’d also love to see how their relationship grows, develops, how they got to where they were in 3x02.

Santanico Pandemonium/Venganza Verdugo

I’d love anything exploring their interactions--I’m sort of fascinated by how Kisa must have felt about Malvado’s sister, who seemed to disapprove of him, who has a similar backstory as Kisa herself does, but did nothing to help her.

Backstory where Venganza comes to visit her brother and meets Santanico.

Missing scenes from the canon, like when they see each other in the prison.

Moments with sexual tension, grabbing each other by the throat, invading each other’s spaces, angry sex, holding a grudge

Moments of understanding one another, while not necessarily liking each other.

First time together.

Any kind of AU where Venganza lives and survives the season. Maybe she helps Kisa rebuild the culebra community.

ART PROMPTS: Anything highlighting their paralles, any kind of snapshot moment from my fic prompts, something to do with blood or feeding or culebra faces, them in gorgeous evening gowns.

Paloma Gutierrez/Santanico Pandemonium:

I have received such wonderful fic for this pairing in other exchanges but I really love them and I always want more. For this pair, I am perfectly happy with dubious consent and stockholm syndrome fuckery. I just don’t want rape fic, as always.

I was really interested in Paloma specifically saying she went into Jackknife Jed’s by on her own because she wanted power; I’d love to see that explored more, especially given the Is that what you gave me? exchange with Santanico—Paloma trying to get the upper hand on Santanico, or trying to navigate a new world of snakes and monsters by trying to become powerful herself. Maybe she asks Santanico to turn her instead of Malvado, after 2x05.

Honestly I’m just fascinated by culebra!Paloma and would love to read more of it, in any capacity.

I would love dearly if Santanico doesn’t kill Paloma—merely incapacitates her—and later on takes her under her wing.

Alternatively, I’d love for Santanico’s statement we’ll go all the way to the top together comes to fruition, and Santanico and Paloma mutually work together to destroy Malvado.

Post 2x05 fic where Santanico goes to check up on Paloma—maybe making sure she’s safe, or maybe watching her over periodically.

Creepy Stockholm syndrome shit, man. I feel a good chunk of this ship would be creepy Stockholm Syndrome stuff, but I’d love anything surrounding Paloma’s complicated Santanico feels—her devotion and faith to her goddess, her growing identification with her kidnapper, and her anger and disgust at being kidnapped and used as bait, and the way Paloma tries to seduce/kiss Santanico and probably getting in too deep emotionally.

I’d love to read more about the actual hostage situation. How much time did they spend together before Paloma had to go on stage? In particular, I’d love to see more Santanico/Paloma dance lessons, however grueling they are; maybe Santanico teaching Paloma the specific moves she did in 2x04?

I’m not a goddess, you are; now act like one. Feel free to explore this further! I would love to read a story where Paloma does become “Santanico Pandemonium” in another way. Perhaps Santanico bestows the title on her, sort of passing the torch to her, so Paloma can be "la diosa" while Santanico is free--especially given that Paloma seems to want it, while Santanico does not

Or I'd like to see something exploring that it means to be pedestaled that way, and how Santanico teaches her to be more like her, for one reason or another.

I’ve received and read several fics for these two that I’ve loved and I never, ever get tired of it. You could write about them bickering at Big Kahuna and I’ll smile. I love it all for them--angst, fluff, fighting, fucking, case fic (or in this case, bank robbing fic), just as long it’s about them and their bond and Seth’s obsessive need and love for Richie that overrides his rationality and Richie’s own quiet way of loving his brother. Here’s a few things I would really enjoy.

I’d love some post s3 fic, about them rebuilding their lives after Amaru is defeated. Do they go back to their compound and continue to work with their people? Can they keep up bank robbing forever?

I’d love anything that addresses Seth’s mortality, either in a funny way or angsty way, like Seth freaking out about his grey hairs because Richie never ages anymore, or Seth getting injured in some way and not healing the same. I’d really prefer a happy ending with the Geckos here, though a melancholy complicated ending would work for me as well, just not a total downer.

Post s2 fic set after they agree to run Jackknives as a Gecko Brothers Joint. Whatever happened to Jackknives? I love the idea of the Geckos running a vampire truck stop! I want more of that, combining the mundanity of a truck stop with the weirdness of culebras and bank robbing brothers running and vampire lords overseeing it.

I also I want fic that explores their clear cut issues after season 2--Seth had to threatened to burn Richie in the sun to allow him to stay with him! I’d love to read fic about Seth and Richie getting used to each other again, the changes in one another, and Seth having to get used to, tolerate and accept the culebra parts of his new life, including Richie.

Anything kinking on Richie’s culebraness--I’d love porn with Seth wants to relearn his brother’s body all over again, or gets weirdly fixated on his scales and fangs. I felt like Freddie have developed some interesting moral greyness throughout the series and both Geckos have decided they liked him, so I’d also love exploring all the ways Freddie’s changed since S1 and how he fits in with them now.

I’d love a first time fic, especially if the Geckos decide to gang up on Freddie together to blow his mind, and Freddie feeling fucked up and disgusted with himself for allowing it/being into it, both because they’re criminals but also brothers. I’d especially love it if it keeps happening regardless.

I’m interested in Freddie’s deteriorating life after season 2--losing his wife and his kids and then his job and then working for not just the people that killed his mentor, but also for vampires, and how he struggles to hold on to whatever sense of self he has.
